I'm sorry that you're having troubles with the game.

I'm not sure why you're having troubles with the game on an RTX 3070. I have an older RTX 2060 6GB video card and it runs perfectly fine on it. (That's also the card I developed it on.) Maybe you're having some kind of a driver issue? I'm not too sure on that one. I do not believe it to be a very demanding game as far as graphics go.

There is no blue skateboard in the game. What you're referring to is a blue hoverboard that's inspired by the ones found in the movie Back to the Future 2. (It's a small easter egg because of my user name being McFlyGold) So, it's supposed to be floating. ;)

I'm curious about the switch not working. I haven't had any reported problems with it so far. I'll have to look into that to see if there's something wrong there on my end.

As far a a "death screen". When you "die", I think it's pretty obvious that you did something wrong in the game. I didn't feel the need to add the text "you died" on the screen. But I'm sorry that you think it looks "cheap".

Yes, some of the anomalies are obscure. That's intentional. The game was designed to make you try and pay attention to small details. In my opinion, if all the anomalies were obvious, the game would be too easy. AI was inspired by a few other games and they all have some anomalies that are difficult to notice unless you're paying attention.

I'm sorry that you did not enjoy the game. That's why I added a free demo for people to try out before buying the full game. Maybe this style of game doesn't fit your interests? Either way, I honestly do appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback on your experience.

As you requested, I worked all night and added a demo. It has 5 unique anomalies that are not found in the full game! Thanks for the interest and the suggestion! I appreciate your time! Have fun! :)

I'll see what I can do about that. :)

(1 edit)

Dive into the depths of Anomaly Investigations, where you step into the shoes of a "volunteer" investigator tasked with unraveling the secrets of a mysterious underground hallway. Delve into the heart of the unknown as you navigate through a  seemingly endless corridors, each time uncovering new anomalies and unexplained phenomena. With every loop, the truth inches closer, challenging your wit and determination and observational skills in this dangerous journey of discovery and intrigue.

There is now a free demo available on the store page as well!

Thank you for your kind words. I'm sorry that I can not upload this project. It has models and animations that were paid for and can not be distributed freely. I'll take a look at my explosion and maybe release a short tutorial for how to make it.

Thank you! Yeah, I had fun making that silly intro movie. I had to record it twice because I messed up a setting and the audio didn't record the first time. You can hear me laughing in it too. I thought of doing it again, but I thought it sounded funnier hearing me lose it being a goofball. ;)

I wanted to add a background track, but I was so busy trying to fix bugs that I forgot.

There's actually a second power in the game, but you can't access it. I wanted to make it that you can save cats from trees. So you can laser the tree, the tree blows up, and the cat runs free! Sadly, I didn't get the chance to implement the tree logic. I made the laser, and there's interaction code already in place for it, but I ran out of time! :(

I also really try to have gamepad input whenever I can. I grew up with console games, controller support is the bees knees!

Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to play it! :)

Thank you! Yeah, I wanted to add something like a prompt... but I goofed. I was hoping that the controls on the pause screen would be enough to get people through. There also might've been a bug where the power didn't activate. I did my best to kill it, but it might've slipped through. :(

Awesome, Thanks! I had a lot of fun working on it. I liked your game too, although I sucked at it big time! lol

You won't regret it!

Thanks! I really appreciate it. I had a lot of fun working on it, and I would've had more to it had Tears of the Kingdom not been released yet!

The secret score is basically some hidden calculations that are done that apply scores for how many fires extinguished, UFOs defeated and humans lost. It's basically a scoring system that's hidden from the player until the round is over.
