The Chapters menu that you can find in the main menu serves the purpose of being a guide for the most part. Content is pretty short for now so I doubt there's any external guides made.

Ah, yeah I do apologize but I don't think I can help you. It's difficult to troubleshoot these kinds of things in my experience. Hopefully me using Flatpak in the future can resolve the issue for you. Sorry, again!

Do these black screens happen randomly or is there a set moment where they happen, for example when an animation plays?

Depends what you mean with cheats. The next version will contain some, but nothing too special.

It's even more strange considering I tested the Linux version on Mint as well and I'm pretty sure on that exact version. I didn't experience any issues back then though. Though the stuttering you have is probably due to the parallax effect the main menu has that you can turn off in the settings (2nd option). Regardless though, should not be an issue for a setup like that in the slightest.

Very difficult to troubleshoot this especially when I don't have these issues myself. Hopefully for the next update I'm looking to make the game work with Flatpak, which may or may not resolve this issue as well?

Apologies. That does sound like a performance issue especially since it's causing other applications to turn black too. Are you running any old or low end hardware by chance?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, sorry. If you're talking about the cell you're trapped in and you're unable to progress, then that's a bug and you should try to reload the last checkpoint. Hopefully that helps!

You're not late at all, there will be 7 new characters in the upcoming update, majority of them will be able to be transformed during it as well, though keep in mind that they all have very limited story. And as of right now, the update is still in development. Hope that answers your questions. :)

You could definitely look at Nylah's scene in the intro and use that to give yourself somewhat of an idea. Since that's supposed to be kind of a teaser as to what is to come. :)

The reason the path comes later is because it's the sort of path that's a lot better if you know the characters already. Since it focuses on other things rather than getting to know them.

If I understand correctly you're having issues with the installer which I sadly cannot help with since the framework I use handles all of that itself.
