I encountered the same bug, any time I failed a mission the registry got cleared until I quit and restarted the game (actually hit quit, not using the in-game restart function)
the lookat/coordinate feature doesn't work past 90 degrees and the x/y are reversed in the eye's coordinate system. Try again but with manually aiming to the location, it took me a while to figure that out
I got this in one of those massive charity bundles, and while it's great that lots of people tried very hard to make a game and were nice enough to include it in that bundle, it unfortunately means that lots of games that were not that high quality ended up in there, and I originally assumed this was in that category.
I came back to this one since it had a bit more polish and seemed to be worth another look, and I'm glad I did.
While this game may look like Pikuniku at first glance it ends up being a wholly different experience that is worth playing. It is clear the devs have experience as the game was bug-free and solid mechanically. I recommend checking it out if you like classic platformers.

I had the same problem, it's because of a recent flash update. You have to download an old version of adobe flash and run it locally from the direct link they have up there.
Your video game ideas are interesting, especially the magic academy one. I would love to see them completed, but I totally get that it's tough to work on your own stuff outside of everything that is already happening day-to-day. I really hope you get one of your ideas to fruition one day.
