As someone who very rarely plays sim games and is a total novice at it, I thought the tutorial was pretty good, but I would have appreciated it being a bit more guided in places (i.e. which order should I have clicked on each sub-menu?) The to-do list sticky note was helpful once I found it. I had trouble figuring out how to hire an employee before going bankrupt, so perhaps some warnings and suggested strategies in the beginning would be helpful.

Hi Tony! Thanks so much for checking out the demo. The battle button controls can be assigned on the main menu if you go to Options, then Controls, then look at the rows labeled Battle Buttons 1 through 4.
It is possible that if you have a gamepad plugged in, then control is being directed away from your keyboard to the gamepad. The assigned buttons shown in the Controls menu should confirm whether MonCon is expecting you to play it with a gamepad or with the keyboard.
Hope this helps! I'm happy to do more in-depth troubleshooting with you if you like.

I loved getting to play Mayonnaise Hole in VR! It felt just like the real Camp Fangamer (TM) experience.
Like the real-life game, it required an immense amount of concentration and was a tad bit frustrating (in a good way). I wonder if the intro tutorials shouldn't be easier to help ease in players who have never heard of the game / gotten to play it in real life. Bigger holes? More hands-on, narrated guidance on how to master Mayonnaise Hole techniques?
I have to say also that this game is hysterically funny. I loved the highway level and the final chimney puzzle had me in stitches. I'm eagerly looking forward to the rest of the game!!!
In the intro/warehouse area, the controller help text still appeared after I had picked up my phone, and as a result, the help text looked like it was slicing through the phone screen. Not sure if that counts as a bug, but it looked weird. Overall though, it was a really solid and fun experience and I didn't encounter any crippling bugs.
