That should be ok, but try to include road trip experiences so it’s not plainly a delivery service simulator!

Sorry for the late response, I’m graduating today and had to check with my co-host lol
If the bus drive has the experiences of a road trip, it should be ok. E.g: stopping for meals and gas, staying at hotels, sightseeing, etc. I think the difference between a road trip and a regular bus travel in your case would be more important.

They don’t have to know each other from the get-go. Getting to know (or hate) strangers during the trip is ok.

The interactions don’t have to be positive. If you want everyone in the vehicle to hate each other’s guts/ actively plan for their murders/not care about each other, that’s okay. The social aspect can be as negative as you want, not all road trips are fun times for everyone.

Minibus and van are ok, my own game has a van as it vehicle.
Hello, road tripmaxxers. The jam starts tomorrow!!! Yipiee, hooray!
A FAQ is now available on the jam’s page. Please read it before asking any questions, as we’re receiving a lot of questions that were already answered multiple times before.
The FAQ will be updated as more questions come in.
Additionally, I would like to clarify again that the DevTalk Discord server is for visual novels only. The admins there are not the hosts, so they can’t answer your questions. If you have a question, ask here on the community board instead.
We don’t have an official discord for Road Trip Game Jam as neither of us are capable of moderating a potentially large community at this time. Any question that you have can be quickly answered here.
We did not expect this sheer amount of interested devs, I frankly thought we’d have 20 max and maybe five or six games total by the end of it. I was even thinking of streaming all the games after, but, uh, I don’t believe that’ll be doable…
Thank you so much for the interest, and we wish you all a fun, chill jam!
As for my final message:
Please read the FAQ and the pinned questions thread!
