Thank you!

You're welcome!

I got into pen and paper games back when it was just miles of people putting their weird little games our for anyone to play, it definitely feels like the most natural way to do for me.

Galaxy Trucker was definitely an inspiration for this one.

Thank You!

Lol, gross

For sure! Send me an email at metalsnail.idea [at] protonmail [dot] com and we can discuss.

You can push something further back, yeah, but only one of the top seven cards.

I like that I can play it instead of something on my phone.

You're welcome! Thanks for playing it!

Yes, those are ordered from least to greatest, you don't need to worry about suit.

Just got an email back from Rain City Games that they will be willing to sell copies of my book on consignment. So you won't even need to track me down!

Feel free to come say hi if you want though. I'll be in the RPG room basically all Saturday and Sunday.

I've decreased the price! Enjoy!

Instructions in the new Community Post: https://metalsnail.itch.io/a-street-level-guide-to-urban-troika/devlog/688937/li...

I'll see what that entails. I might be able to make that an option for everyone.

I'll bring some, but I don't have a table or anything, you'll have to track me down (RPG Room Saturday/Sunday)

Absolutely. As I said to another commenter, I want to let this exist at full price for a bit. I'll make a community post when I start looking at promotional pricing, so be sure to watch this space!

Hi, thanks for reaching out!

Right now I don't want to compete with the folks who are selling the physical version, that seems rude. Also I'd like to get rid of the pile of books currently taking up the space under my desk where my legs usually go, so incentivizing folks to *not* buy the physical book doesn't make sense to me.

I'll look into doing promotions like Community Copies and Bundles once the dust settles a bit. In the meantime, basically all of my previous work is available for free or cheap-as-free, including some previews of the book on my blog:

It is hard to understate how important this game is to how I think about games. Thank you for the port!

At this point it's kinda impressive the percentage of connections here that turned out wrong.

Thank you for spotting that!

Yeah, you gotta do that or else you just run out of room with too many points

That does seem a tad high.

You would have had 11 crowns remaining, 11×5×4 = 220

You add 5 to the multiplier for each crown remaining, not multiply the total again.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy them!

Thank you so much!

Hey, these are really cool, but the resolution seems a bit low for printing. Are you able to upload a higher resolution scan?

This sounds like an error, I'll have a look and get a revised PDF up in the next couple days.

I'm glad you enjoyed it otherwise, it's nice to see that folks have been coming back even with my recent hiatus.

You're welcome! I definitely borrowed the idea from Dismaster FraNe, who has similar sheets for a bunch of games.

That is correct, yes.

I did actually release a revised version under the ButtonShy label available on PNPArcade. It doesn't have the expanded rules though.

Hey, thanks for playing!

Really I need to do a definitive edition with a longer, dedicated rules doc.

Your assumptions here are correct except the second. Explosions destroy a room from the Building Plan, not type of room.

This is a solid little arcade game. I like that it's playable in a mobile browser.

You've got it!

Having to place the Cooks adds a neat wrinkle to the game, I'll need to try that.

Thank you for the feedback. Eventually I'll need to go back and do a revised edition of this, having the comment section here will be an excellent resource.

Normally if you don't roll at least one Cooking Dwarf, you can't do anything else. If there's a farm though, you can do something at that same depth (that nine square area)

I appreciate the endorsement, and your willingness to just run with me depowering you.

That's great!

Thanks!

Just in time for back-to-school!

It's called common courtesy, look it up!

Right here!

  1. The second Multiball checkbox is only there for if you get multiball, lose it, then get it again. Super multiball is what you use if you get multiball while you already have multiball.
  2. Tunnels can only be hit by two-die values.
  3. Targets yes, tilts no. Tilts aren't a "scoring zone".
  4. Season 2 is its own thing. I'm working on updating all of the tables to use the same rules (the original versions will still be available), but it's a long process.
  5. It only counts the uncrossed "Balls Remaining" dots, to a maximum of 150 points.

Sorry for taking so long to address these!

Very nearly required to.

You get three balls, cross them off when you drain. The game ends when you drain your third ball.
