Hi Jeff!
I am discovering your game and haven’t read the CityScapes in detail, yet. Yet, it seems the Queen of Diamonds remembers too well she was born in Cap’ Turbines’ template… Check her “Powers + Abilities” section ;-)
Have a merry XMas!
Hello Cezar!
I loved reading this game and hope to play it soon!! And art-selection is top-notch!
I’d like to translate the cards in french so it would be easier for some of my players. Would you agree? How could we manage this? If I send you the translations, could you create a french version of the card files? Or could you send me the templates? Any other way?
Once again, Cezar, thanks for your work!
Not the best of times, for my wallet, to acquire yet another RPG… Anyhow I bought it more as a way to pay you a drink (your choice) for your birthday, and saying thanks for everything you create and I already had the pleasure to read/play.
Btw, for those who don’t know yet, Cezar also developed a RPG currently not available on Itch: “I Guess This Is It”, published by Button Shy Games, an indie boardgame publisher. (I’m in no way affiliated to them… just a fan)
This one-page game is evocative and character creation is a delight if you know the tropes. :) Yet it is quite different from the movies as danger here is not being alone but acting in pairs!
Regarding this, I’m asking myself if the secret role objectives shouldn’t be supported by some mechanical incentives. I mean, there are many rooms, so everybody could stay alone: wanting to act in pairs is highly suspicious.
I know it's a layout detail but… Why are the coin tables listed in what seems to me a strange, confusing order? Am I missing something? Why not use binary/alphabetical order of its H/T “code”, so that flipping sequences beginning the same way are always grouped together, and thus easier to search/find?
