Okay, for some reason, I was running the Steam version through Proton (I'm on Linux) which is why the save file didn't automatically transfer. But otherwise I think the Steam and Itch version save to the same folder.

Hunting down the save files from Proton is always a bit of a hassle (for me they were in ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/2570560/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/SternlyWordedAdventures) but copying them over to ~/.local/share/SternlyWordedAdventures worked just fine - and should theoretically work backwards as well, if I want to play the full version on Steam when it comes out.

Thanks for the swift reply! I'll see how it works (it's on, ahem, my work computer...) and report back.

I played the demo to the end on Steam (after reading about it on Rock, Paper, Shotgun) and really, really enjoyed it! And I want to keep playing, dammit! Now, because the full version isn't available on Steam yet (and I'd actually prefer to buy here, so you get a larger cut): Can I transfer my save from the demo (that I played on Steam) to the Itch full version somehow?

Clever, thanks! I kinda went on a hunch at the end but that turned out to be correct.

This was fun, thank you! I did need the hint for the dial puzzle and for where to use the flashlight.

So great! Took me right back to the escape room games back on Kongregate, but the production value on this one is so good! I needed a single hint for one of the passwords, but the rest I could solve on my own, but without it feeling too easy! Thanks for this great, free game!

That was a great experience! I loved the visual design, the sound design, and especially the puzzles! I found the difficulty level and the learning curve to be just right for me, and solving the puzzles makes you feel very clever. And it's astonishing how much character these guys were able to put into a small fuzzy ball! I wish I had found more of the secrets... Highly recommended!!

That sounds great!! Really looking forward to playing it with her!
Thank you for being part of the bundle!

The steam page says that it's available in German, French and Spanish as well, however I couldn't find a way to change languages in the Android version. I would love to play this game with my daughter, however, she doesn't speak English (yet)... Are the other languages available on Android?

Edit: Okay, I saw the update at the very top that says that the Mac & PC versions have the translations. So I'll update my question as well: Will they come to Android eventually?
