I think a payed game would make Ravenfield die. Not to be rude but do you think Ravenfield can beat payed games like CoD? Not at it's current state. Maybe through development but not now. But I bet you wish to. Look at other indie games like LIMBO, Chameleon run, none of them are thriving at all and this game deserves more than a few downloads. Many people want it to be payed but everyone would be fine with free. You need people to know this game. The more famous the more attention the better. Making it payed at any price, even 0.01 dollars is a big difference from free because there are so many free to plays and they will not be able to afford anything. MAKE IT FREE so people would download this game more. Once you have enough attention then you can make it payed. the moment that it is free you can use other ways for income for further development like skins (just an example) but not too much free to win stuff because that will generate hate. Once you have enough players and community then you can make it payed. Also, many of your long time supporters are free to plays and this brief moment you could make the game free will not let them down and is also a reward to anyone who has supported your game for a long time (like me) and I don't want it to die so gain a massive community so it would never die!
Just In case you wanted to know, I am no free to play that want to get the game for free, I can pay plenty of money for the game but I know so many that supported the game since beta 2 and they do not have access to money to buy your game and now they are just losing interest in this awesome game .

i'm 13 years old and I really like ravenfield. I've been playing it since beta 3. The game is full of surprises. Will the game be freemium or premium on steam? Anyways I have some suggestions.
1. guns. there could be a hand carried machine gun that shoots quickly and a pistol that is automatic. there could be a grenade launcher that replaces the rocket launcher and fires 6 grenades.
2. protection like different type of helmets, riot shield, or body armor would be awesome, especially if these would increase or reduce movement speeds.
3. this would be great if put into a game. optional character models with an optional flat face and you can put a photo on it to make the characters more detailed.
4. vehicles would be much more cinematic if they made huge explosions and break into pieces as you crash. An armored three wheel motorcycle would be great too.
there are also problems in this game where your body can get stuck in the ground when you are alive.
other comments keep complaining about multiplayer but i think if it isn't necessary you don't need to spend huge amounts of time on it. After all, it's "slightly experimental, FOR FUN gaming project."
anyways one of the best fps and it never gets old. I rated it 5 stars on itch.io and voted it for steam. I'm a 13 year old boy and I really love your game. It never gets old because its full of surprises. the physics are really great. I just rated the game on steam because it is the one of the best fps.
