I really love the art for this game. The level design is a bit lacking though.

Sick game Hempuli. What engine or framework or language did you make this with?

Great game

Amazing game. It was cool to explore the land you created. Would've been nice if there was some dialog after the final fight to explain a bit of the story, but it was still a cool experience

Amazing game, I've played it every day for the past few days. I used the code to learn a lot more about how pico8 works. I'd love if you would ever make a sequel to this. I'd ask if you would make more levels but I saw that you basically filled up all the space in the cartridge.

Thanks!

Also would you mind telling me a bit about your process for designing your puzzles? I'd like to make a puzzle game but I want to improve my design process

Thanks. Are you still working on it?

Cool game btw

Really nice game

Really cool puzzle game

Thanks!

Thanks!

True

Thanks!

Haven't finished playing yet but wanted to say - love the music and love the way you implemented the invisible tutorial. For the first puzzle I had no idea what to do but I completely got it by the second one. Good work.

Looks great!

Hey Anuke, I was really excited to get the email that you published a new game. You're so good at atmosphere, it's crazy. This game gave me Subnautica vibes. The sound design was great as always.

I think I've played all your games on here. My favorites are Embers, Mindustry (I bought the full version on mobile), and Project Home. Looking forward to seeing what you create next, you're a big inspiration to me as a game dev.

I was also wondering, what do you use to make these games? Still Java like Mindustry? Thanks!

Thanks!

Cool game, I was not expecting it to actually work on mobile so good job on that. It would also be cool if you did some more work on making sure the rooms and card generation are balanced, because sometimes it’s very difficult to make it work with the cards you’re given.

Hallelujah the seamless audio loop export is finally here👏

How did you make this in an hour?? I really liked playing it, I'm not the best at puzzle games but this had the perfect level of difficulty for me. I actually finished one of the levels by skipping one of the three collectibles, so I was pretty proud of myself for that. Nice work!

Hi, just following up, when can I expect the version that exports a seamless audio loop? Thanks

This game was so cute, I love it. It had surprisingly good level and puzzle design

Really great game, with good art and level design

Really great work

Thanks! When will the update be released?

Thank you so much for listening to our input, I’m really excited for this update. Also if it’s not on your list already, it would be really convenient if there was an easier way to delete notes, as right now I have to click on each one at a time. For example, if you click to delete a note and continue holding, maybe it could delete any notes you drag over. Thanks!

Thank you. Also is there any way to have the instruments you have playing carry over when you switch to a new page? Otherwise you either have to create all of the instrumental loops again, or you’re limited to like 8 measures. Thanks so much

Hey, thank you so much. Sorry if I sounded rude in my comment, I was just a little frustrated. But yeah, if you were able to add these features, I would easily use this for all of my games:

1. Export x measures as WAV (the output file would ideally include the live stuff too, ie the arpeggiated section because that helps a lot with making music quickly)

Thank you so much, I would be so happy if you could add this. I want the loop to be perfect but I haven’t been able to do this so far by exporting to another program and cutting it manually :)

Title says it all. I think this is a good tool if there's a way to say "I want to export the first 4 measures" and it lets you do that. I need to do this because I want a short looping audio for this game. It doesn't work if I have to manually press the record button and then release it at the end, because it's impossible to do end it so it loops perfectly. I also couldn't find a way to get rid of the fadeout that happens when you export as a WAV. I'll be honest, this is kind of disappointing if there's no way to do this and I won't be using this tool if there's no way to do it.

Cool, I like it

Awesome game! Would it be ok if I made a sort of spinoff of this, building off of some of your ideas?

Haha thanks, that’s what I was going for

Thank you! I'll think about adding more levels.
