Itch.io is the only site the game is (officially) hosted on. The latest update is whatever the most recent monthly build is. I have no plans to start charging for anything.

Until the script is finished, yes. I've learned the hard way that making renders with an incomplete script is a waste of time and effort.

"Public update" means "I will make a public post updating people on the state of the game." I don't paywall builds. All of them will be freely available on itch.io.

There are updates on the game's status on Patreon, yes. There's nothing to publicly announce at the moment, since the next version is still a way aways.

Edit: On second thought, I think I will put up a public update very soon.

If the game is on hold (it was) a public update will be posted on Patreon. I just made one yesterday.

There's no Patreon-specific builds. v0.1 is the only version so far.

That scene is in every branch so I'm not sure why you wouldn't have seen it.

Thanks!

Rendering issues are sorted out and the game is in development again, but I can only work on it on weekends so it'll be a while for the next release yet unfortunately.

Good to know. I see Daz with Iray now runs on Linux too, so I might see about switching.

It's against itch.io rules.
https://itch.io/docs/creators/quality-guidelines

"Only select the options that you've actually tested running your project on. For example, if you use Windows, and tested your project on Windows, and aren’t sure of anything else, then only select Windows! Misclassifying a project may result in your page being unlisted."

I could test v0.2 on a Linux virtual machine when I release it, but it's not something I use frequently.

Thanks.

Probably not dead after all, now that i've sorted out some technical problems.

Probably dead due to Daz3D's incompetence, but I will finish the story some other way. Haven't decided how yet.

Even if it seems to get preachy, I may pull the rug out from under you later, so you never know.

It's a small town, so that would be the sheriff.

The outline has some wiggle room for specifics. I fill those in as I write each update. I can't say it'll happen for sure (for plot reasons) but I am considering it.

In this case, the story and the religious themes are the same thing. They can't be separated.

The game will be 100% free.

Though Patreon donations are appreciated, of course.

The protagonist has one male and one female love interest. As of v0.1, neither have been introduced yet.
