Beautiful loop of events caused by the repeated actions of two opposite entities. Will they ever be able to escape it?

Will you expand on this story?

It's a cute game. Will there be fluffy moments between the owner and the chosen pet?

Hey! I just wanted to let you know that the key controls for playing in browser don't work

Also, wanted to ask whether "this forced stillness...." is one of the endings?

Hey, I'm playing on PC (Chrome Browser) and the UI looks like this without playing on fullscreen mode

Is the title supposed to be so high up like that?

Damn you for making me think I was investigating a murder 😡 😡😭😭

❤️❤️❤️❤️Loved it❤️❤️❤️❤️

Some bugs I found:

(1 edit)

I'm on a PC playing the game through Chrome Browser. The screenshot is partial=sized (only captured the part where the problem was)  Screen size resolution on my PC is 1920 x 1080. The problem disappears when I use the fullscreen option in my browser.

I'm posting the full sized screenshots below:

After using fullscreen option in browser:

Hey is the text supposed to look like this?

Even though the overall writing was good, the partial demo needs some editing for grammar errors. You also need to fix the problem where the text appears to close to the left border of the text area (from the very beginning)

Replaying P-Rix again and I can't believe I missed the little detail about P-Rix being once at Castea sector. The 0's on the check managed to beat his fear of going there even if only close to its border😂

Client: I want you to deliver an important cargo at NA-Dux 16T-8R. It's close to Castea Sector.

P-Rix: No.

*Client shows the 0's

P-Rix changes his tune: Yes 🤑🤑🤑

Little Game Review

P-Rix is a frustrated, minimum-wage trucker who lost their rationality in the face of 0′s offered for a cargo delivery. Something goes wrong with the vehicle’s systems they have to find it and fix it.

For the UI, it was the template previously posted on the author's blog which was used. As always, gorgeous aesthetics creating the needed ambiance for an immersive experience. One of the things I will complain about is the dimensions of the textbox (holding the text we read). When I choose 150% in font size options, there are some pars (at the start) where the first line can only be partially read and in some other parts (example: timed option choosing) one of the options gets “halved” (one word is on one line and the other is on the following line).

And lastly as I read in one of the reviews on IFDB for IFComp

“Death Endings Galore” are waiting for us if we are not careful with what we choose

First off, it's just my opinion?  (I have no idea why we are having a discussion on the comment section right now but oh well)

Second, if i have to explain my opinion, I'm not saying Morgana is a good person (hell no she is not no matter what past she may have had) but as a mother she is 100% a good one. Granted she may not be perfect what with her bitterness (part of it being: no matter the circumstances, arthur just abandons and doesn't even show up his face to his kid in years and somehow later he has a change of heart and wants to be a father to the kid? hell no! it's bad and destructive for the child's psychological health (she thinks she is protecting her child like any other mother on the planet would)) but she neither abandons her children nor does she fail to show her love for both of them every single time. An imperfect but passionate mother who will do everything for her children.

In the end, you have an opinion and i have an opinion. i don't impose my opinion on you nor should you impose your opinions on the story to me (i'm not saying you are but i'm writing this just in case).

It's a linear story but very interesting nonetheless (with the suprising revelation too). The graphics though are just amazing.

WOW😲

You write the game and design+code your templates yourself?

That's rare among the IF writers and awesome to know! Can't wait for further updates in all of your games then (gonna check out the templates in a bit). But seriously it's awesome knowing you do all the work yourself.

Did you code the template used for goncharov escapes on you own?

From the beginning to the end, the Bastard of Camelot is a masterpiece of a story. Parent-child relationship with Morgana as best mom and Accolon as best dad are my favourite parts of the story to read.Gawain is a sweetheart but Nimue is my Mordred's first childhood crush (sorry Gawain).

I was shocked to learn this was just a (...................................... than a...............). The tension was thick in the beginning but I guess that's the testament to the actors acting skills. Great work from an awesome writer.

One little question

In the ending when I hit space on time along all the scene, can I ask what happened to Harvey after his almost confession?

(i'm popping out on some game comments section after I created my account to write my thoughts on the games after playing them, so that's why you may see me jump from the thick table tavern to here😅)

Was surprised to read the carnage a blood magician can cause and it really took me by surprise to find out the guy at the start was the bloody husky (the cutest and bestest dog ever😍)

Positives

  • We need more nice bosses and colleagues we can goof around at around with in our lives and interactive fiction games.
  • I appreciate the in between break time from reading. Mixing drinks and doing everyday bartender tasks was a calming experience.
  • This may be just my personal taste but I like the idea of each day starting out the same outside the tavern and only changing when inside it.
  • The random events popping up on each day made the story more fun and unpredictable. Just like life, you never know what will hit you.
  • The new adventurer's nervousness reminded me of myself on my first day at work. A few lines compared to other characters but those lines conveyed a lot about his emotional state at the moment.

Negatives:

  • Tutorial in the Arcade doesn't work properly
  • Roscoe needs to cool it with deducting coins every time i hit the tavern sign (what? I like how it swings)
  • I want MOAR, gimme MOAR content!
