What can I say that hasn't already been said in the comments? The story is very well written and obviously the highlight of the game, albeit super depressing. That's what makes psychological horror games like this so interesting. Well done, dev! I look forward to future episodes.

The first half of this demo is absolutely thrilling, and I love the concept of two different perspectives. Unfortunately, the second half loses all momentum, but maybe it'll pick up again in the full release. Also, heads up for content creators, the song at the end is copyrighted. The dev says it's not, but it is.

Though I feel like the story kinda went off the rails, the game does offer one of the loudest jumpscares I've experienced in a long time. Well done, dev.

Perfect little slice of horror for Halloween. The atmosphere is creepy, and a couple of the jumpscares were effective and well deserved. Well done, dev!

Late to the party here, but glad to have finally played. I scared farted many times during my playthrough. Hands down, one of the best indie horror games of the year. Well done, dev!

Just when I thought I had enough of the anomaly gimmick, this game creates a fresh and new experience. What I enjoyed most is the focus on the environment and atmosphere. I cannot wait for the full release. Well done, dev!

This was a great introduction to the story and atmosphere, albeit some flaws here and there. The demo shines most with it's subtle yet very effective jumpscares. Well done, dev!

Been awhile since I've been this panicked playing a game. Needless to say, I'm excited for the full release. Well done, dev!

I'd say this is probably this developer's best work by far. Everything from the atmosphere to the dialogue through the coms, it all contributes to a terrifying sci-fi horror. Well done, dev!

Once again, this dev brings a well crafted, retro styled indie horror. The atmosphere(though a little too dark at the time of this recording) was chilling and the music fit so well. Well done, dev!

This was great! Excellent horror comedy with lots of replayability, Successfully got me hungry after playing too. Well done, dev!

Given how short this demo is, it delivers a very unsettling atmosphere with a very effective scare. Wish I could say more, but that would have to wait until the full release. Well done, dev!

By far this developer's best work yet. The paranoia is at every corner and location and one of the most effective jumpscares I've experienced this year. Also, perfect length to tell this story. Well done, dev!

This might be one of the best found footage horror games this year. The atmosphere is unsettling and the subtle sounds around the house do so much for this experience. Well done, dev!

This game was fantastic! Though I had some trouble with the mannequin maze, the game succeeded in atmosphere and leaving me in a pool of stress sweat. Well done, dev! Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Though I'm not familiar with this creepypasta, I still had a great time with this game. It does raise a lot of questions and a need for more. Well done, dev! Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Great spooky atmosphere and effective jumpscares to pair with it. I'm not familiar with this dev, but I can honestly say that this looks very promising. Well done, dev!

Great work so far! It's like if H.R Giger and H.P Lovecraft teamed up. I had trouble figuring out how to refeul. Perhaps adding that to the tutorial? Overall, I enjoyed this a lot. Can't wait for the full release.

This developer doesn't stop delivering high octane horror! The atmosphere is chilling and the creature is scary as hell. To me, this was the perfect length for the story it was telling . Well done, dev!

I enjoyed this a lot! Like many others, I've had this fear of the infamous shower demon, and seeing a game deliver an experience that reminds me of that feeling was pretty great. I've unlocked most endings, except one secret ending. Well done, dev!

As a once video rental store employee, I found this game hilarious and relatable, to a certain extent of course. The gameplay is simple, but considering the ending you get depends on the choices you make gives it a lot of replayability. Well done, dev! This was a great start to the new year.

Short, sweet, and to the point. This game offers everything for those looking for a great Christmas horror experience. Also, not entirely sure, but I can't help but feel like this game has multiple endings, which of course is a plus. Well done, dev. Merry Horrormas!

Perfect definition of cute scary. I highly recommend for fans of the holiday horror season. Well done, dev!

Wait is this the last Madvent Calendar ever?! But why? I've had a blast playing each collection, and this year is no exception. I still have more to play, but I'm loving it so far. Well done again Haunted PS1, as well as all the devs that contributed.

(1 edit)

This is one of the best found footage horror games I've ever played. The storytelling is very clever, and just like the reporter of the game, I felt dedicated and compelled to know the truth, no matter what. Well done, dev! This is truly stellar work.

Simple, short, but very very very very effective! Holy...without spoiling too much, I'll just say that the terror and anxiety turns up to an 11 when you're in the dark. Perfect representation of the urban legend. Would highly recommend now that we're in the Halloween season. Well done, dev!

This game delivers the dark and cold atmosphere of a gothic romance tale, like a really disturbing Tim Burton film. The visuals are stunning and the story is very well told. Though the ending felt a little rushed, I feel  more than satisfied with the overall experience. Well done, dev!

Not that this game needs it, but I'm going to do all I can to promote it. This is stellar work in all avenues, a masterwork in game development. Everything from storytelling, stunning visuals, and incredible audio design, this game has it all. Needless to say, I cannot wait for episode 2. Well done, dev! You have a bright future ahead of you.

As a fan of bizarre concepts, this is by far the strangest and most stylistic horror game I've played all year. Everything from the unique story to the over saturated psx aesthetic is all I could ask for from this experience. Really well done, dev!

This experience was really well done. The atmosphere of the house is perfect for this concept, and the jumpscares are very effective and well deserved. Looking forward to the full release. Well done, dev!

It doesn't take long to realize what kind of experience you're expected to have playing this. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though it does become a little repetitive and predictable. That said, this game does deliver on a lot of effective scares. Overall, this is a great experience for those looking for a simple scary rollercoaster ride. Well done, dev.

The "photo bridge" mechanic is perfect for liminal spaces, as it adds even more weirdness to the environment. Though I found a couple of the puzzles too difficult to solve, the majority of the experience was really well made. Great job, dev!

This game surpassed my expectations in all fronts, but where it shines most is the atmosphere. Which is ironic considering the dark and cold atmosphere. Also, the jumpscares are good and well deserved. Great job, dev!

Holy hell! These jumpscares are sharp!! But where the game shines most is the atmosphere accompanied by found the footage aesthetic.  As the tension constantly builds, you'll constantly think why real people feel compelled to explore these forbidden places. Well done, dev!

If you're familiar with the 2015 game, Boogeyman, then you'll definitely see the similarities with this game. It's still very entertaining, and I like the different challenges each night introduces. Overall, it's a fun and tension inducing experience. Well done, dev!

As a fan of Japanese horror games, this short experience does not disappoint! Instead of relying on cheap jumpscares as many games do nowadays, this game embraces subtlety which helps build tension and very effective scares. My only criticism is that the character moves a little too slow for my liking. Other than, this was really well done. Great job, dev!

Considering that this is the dev's first horror game, it wasn't terrible. It does need a lot of work i.e (the random suspense audio cues, a prompt to an end screen, etc.) It does have potential, as long as the dev perhaps has a couple testers. Well done, dev.
