extracted into the bios direct.

Start the DVD iso, the PS2 will go through a small setup then start the game demo.

I agree with you about .webp!

Cool, I like that it can still display .gif's in folders, but I have gif's default to my web browser.  Ideally it would play it, but it would be handy if it could launch the default viewer from your app, ie double click, enter or key combo.

Also .tga is another popular one worth adding.

great app, please consider maintaining it or making it open source.

Some suggestions:
Start and recording should start in the background.
Would be good to have the option of recording the task bar, for the time and apps running etc.
100% & 50% is good, would be nice to also have 75% in between.
I would really like to be able to manually set the date & time format for the folder and image names.

you can't prove what was made during the jam, unless you make everyone in the jam live stream their screens, then who's going to watch it?

lets face it, "asset" these days means premade game.

I think it doesn't matter tho, because of the theme and the judging are very specific, so even if you start from a pre made game, the resulting game will be different.
