Project description:
„Final Cut“ is tabletop rougelike turn based strategy game with some core and horror elements. The game features turn logic where a player has to risk a limb (leg or a hand) to gain items which can be used to control the game logic and outwit the opponent. The game has some gore elements, but the animations strive to achieve more of suspension and funny outcomes. The setting is dark, medieval, semi realistic. Art keywords: torture devices, dungeon cellar, limbs, gore, talking potato, potions, guillotine. Similar games: Inscryption
Who we are looking for:
We are looking 3d artist who can produce some of the game assets. The game features 5 items, body parts (legs, hands, head). Torture devices, small room for the level. Good skills to have: Knowledge of sculpting and texturing models in Blender. Using programs like Marmoset and Albedo. Understanding human anatomy. Creating skeletal meshes to be used in game. We are open for anyone even if still learning.
Payment:
The payment of the work can be discussed during the meeting. Our main focus is on quality rather than in quantity, meaning that we want to make memorable game with minimal number of assets with fine details including animations, visual effects and sound.
Team:
Currently we have team of 4 people (developer, game designer, sound, art) covering all the aspects of the game including art. We are looking for a member to join to take some load off the artist and help out. We are helpful active and passionate team who likes to work together and eventually release a product to sell.
Initial scope:
We are looking to release demo in the next 6 months. The demo features gameplay against AI and all the art assets, animations and 5 usable items on the table.
