It should still be a stronger attack, (maybe like 60 damage) but maybe with a drawback (like not being able to move while charging it)

Wow, this game is so much better than when I played it a month ago! The level design is great, except there are a few times when you can fall all the way to the bottom of a room, which is annoying. I managed to defeat the boss, 'Runner' (at least I think that was the boss), and I think it needs a bit more attacks, because just charging at you gets a bit boring.
I notice that you can use the joystick on a controller during the game, but you can't in the menus. Being able to press 'B' to resume the game rather than navigating to the resume button in the pause menu would also be nice.
I also think the charge beam should do more damage, because it doesn't seem a lot stronger than the starting weapon, which it definitely should.
Other than that, great game! Excited for full release!

This game is great.
The only negative thing I could really say about this is about bugs. And the music. I like the sound effects, the music isn't too great, but I understand that most people aren't really skilled in this field. I like that you still tried, unlike a lot of games which is why I rate you a 4/5 in this field. I would like to point out that the red lasers from the eye boss don't actually damage the player, so it was kind of a pushover.

I like the concept, it's quite hard to get out a single fire. I was jetting around the place, trying to put the fire out but nothing was happening. I wasn't even sure if that was a fire I could put out. It was, I put it out eventually, but after I did I lost. D=.
The sounds are a bit too loud, but overall, still pretty good.
Also, I think squids squirt ink, not water.

Interesting game, I like the idea, but it needs a proper ending screen. I like how the enemies are randomized each time, and the bombs are a nice addition. It's a bit too eerily quiet, so maybe putting some sound effects would be nice. Maybe for a future project use something called sfxr, it's a free tool for making sound effects really easily.
