I might be mistaken, but it looks like clicking the notes on the left doesn't play the note as a preview? Would that be able to be implemented in the future? I usually prefer that over placing a note to see how it sounds. Thank you for keep this updated!!

That was so fun! tbh I got so into it I forgot it was a jam game till the "prototype end" message popped up lol Like some others have said more events would be great! Possibly some with high risk/high reward, like you could potentially lose a pigeon but if it succeeds then you get a ton of resources? Also my cats went crazy for the sound effects so they loved it too :)
Thank you for checking it out!! :) Yeah I think the guide was something I wasn't able to get fully implemented so I didn't end up connecting the button at all.
The basics are if you can get infections down to 0/(the population) then you win, but if the full population of 50 gets infected you lose. You pick up the infected (green npcs) with "F" then put them on the surgery tables and operate on them with a little minigame.
Thank you for all the compliments! I was super happy with the movement especially so I appreciate it!
For my game I tried to make a plague doctor simulator type game based on the Siege of Caffa story. The plague is spreading through the castle and you have to grab the infected, bring them to your lab, and operate on them in an Operation inspired minigame. Once you remove the infected nodules you can use those to buy powerups at the altar in your lab.
This was for sure the hardest I've worked on a project for a while and even though it's rough and some collisions broke I'm super proud of getting it done and learning from it going forward :)
