I ran this game 7 times at a games festival with group sizes varying from 3 to 13 players. Most of the groups were made up of players who had never played an RPG before let alone D&D. I guesstimate the youngest player to have been around 6 and the eldest around 70 - all players loved playing the game. There are even aspects of this method of decision making I'd want to carry over into my usual RPG playing. The frustration I predicted, of nothing getting anything done and it feeling tedious, was way less present or annoying than I'd imagined it'd be, and in fact, was funnier and more preferable, to the frustration that can often happen within a D&D game of players not articulating their motivations OR spinning off into elaborate speculative planning instead of doing stuff. I only ran the first campaign as some of the others had themes I wasn't comfortable playing out with strangers and I also added the X card safety tool.
