Thank you so much for the feedback! Yeah I had to cram the two paths in right before building so unfortunately I didn't have too much time to bug test and I only tested the right path (I really am sorry about that, at the time we were already late). The rectangle floors disappearing might have been since I adjusted the path last minute and might not have done the math right. Each object type can be stepped on three times and I might have made an extra copy of the towel (the rectangle one). As for the jump distance, yeah, if I had had more time to work on it I definitely wanted to make it more uniform or consistent. Ultimately a lot of stuff came up during game jam weekend.

I'm really glad everyone liked it though! Looking forward to the next game jam with a hopefully clearer schedule.

Update:
Added main menu
Fixed Save/Loading across scenes
Made character names swap sides and colors depending on who's talking
Some polish and design adjustments

Reduced file size by 150 mb

Thanks! I tried to make the feature feel satisfying to use (coding the impact sound was more of a hassle than you'd think lol) but ironically we spent so much time on making and polishing the gameplay that we didn't have time to flesh out the actual level.

I say ironic because I'm literally studying to be a level designer lol. My biggest regret is not taking more time to make use of the feature, but I'm glad you liked it!

Patch Notes 1.02:

QoL changes (you can go back up from the living room to collect the cup of tea in the bathroom)

Brain has arrived. Secret ending is as short as main one but slightly more satisfying.

Glass values have been adjusted

Patch Notes 1.01:

Added a divider between the bedroom and the room that leads down to the living room.

Added an "end dialogue" check so that some long dialogues won't repeat if the player has already encountered them (i.e. the cat after the basement, glass, etc). Collecting glass has never been easier!

Working on adding more narration and dialogue

Working on adding more details to the end (there should be a big brain there)

Working on decorating the rooms (especially the main home).

Working on fleshing out the secret ending and adding more content to the story

Bug fixes: Fixed some behind the scenes organization issues regarding the locked door.
Note to self: check on and readjust the glass values

Note: game is not finished yet but has two "endings" (make sure to collect the glass!)
