Download Bean Simulator 2-0.5!
Hey!
I recently went to a game jam that was not hosted on itch.io. You had to use GDevelop to make a platformer game. I took one of my favourite games (that I made myself), Bean Simulator Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis Edition, and turned it into a difficult platformer.
This is what ended up happening. I created Bean Simulator 2-0.5.
It's a tough platformer with a lot of memory parts. It's short but fun once you get to understand it. I really like how I made it and consider it to be one of my best games. Hopefully it's worth checking out if you're into really hard video games.
The story of Bean Simulator 2-0.5 is a continuation of Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis Edition's story. At the end of that game, you become the most powerful creature in existence and get sent to heaven. The first level of 2-0.5 is in heaven, so it's a hint that the 2 games are linked. After jumping around in clouds, you go to a weird place that was inspired by the Nintendo DS version of Sudoku, Sudoku Gridmaster. You find some weird slabs that are... fake? That's right, you phase right through them. Seems like Bean is more powerful than we thought he was... After that, you partner with the CSA (Canadian Space Agency) to go to the Moon to eliminate the evil Windspirit Giraffe from Dungeons & Dragons (press numpad6 to attack him). And then from there, you need to hit a platform that is hard to see.
After that, you enter a series of levels designed to challenge you. In the first challenge level, you have to jump around and figure out the path to find the Holy Ladder. Then, you get thrown into an entirely different game, Eggzit, of which is coming to itch.io soon. It uses the exact same graphics as the real Eggzit. And after that was a player suggestion from the guy who made pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis the game (of which is ALSO coming to itch.io soon). He told me to make a level with all the previous levels crammed into one, so that's what I did + I took all the BG colour values of the previous levels to get the BG colour of this level. After that, you're at where Bean Simulator 2 will start (that's coming soon).
