Great concept and  very original

ok ok..... sorry ... I am just a proud Dad trying to promote his 10y old Son

I used to help him out until he was 6y old on Scratch, but since then I lost track  Pls who wants to rate him and check out his submission (I did not help him, or any adult for that matter!) Dont even know how to rate him myself as I need to rate 25 other games, not sure how. I am just able to  register and to post this message to promote his efforts and boost his confidence.

Pls show him some encouragement as he doesnt stand a chance amongst the giants active here
Its still its a nice concept he made: https://johnluijken.itch.io/footballmania

As a proud dad, may I please add that my Son is 10y old and that I have got NOTHING to do with this? (Or any adult for that matter) I really dont even understand how he managed to upload this. I dont think there is a separate catagory for young coders (Scratch in this case) but I hope you can show him some love.

Hello there,
My 10y old son told me he registered for a gamejam on this website (I never heard of itch.io before)
He has been waiting (impatiently) for the theme, which cameout 2 days ago with the title "out of control"
He has been coding on Scratch since he was 5y (and I lost track of his progress since 2y)

I am away from home and he send me an E-mail today that he uploaded his game with 6 hours to spare.
I just had a look at it its at: https://johnluijken.itch.io/footballmania , a simple 2 player football game
But he did the coding, including ball physics completely independantly, and for a 10y old its pretty cool I think.

I just registred myself on itch.io so I can write this message.

I am really proud of him that he did this without any help  although he doesnt stand a chance off course with most coders being much older and better than him. It would really be nice if you can show him some love (comment/follow/like etc) to boost his confidence.
Thanks again
A proud dad
