Not the same person but I am also having this issue. Playing as the Miner Knight. Each time you level up the health resets. Have not tried with other characters. The health stats resets to 3.
It's a entertaining game but I just couldn't figure out how to place structures. I managed to place one on accident and didn't figure it out again. I just ended up only shooting.
