I gave myself lesbian heartbreak by making it so that the messy-looking woman appearing once and again turned out to be a widow that had lost her wife, and then we started crushing on each other but on Saturday she dropped her wallet down a drain, lost the picture of her wife, and never came back because of it :'(
It was really nice to play tho! Loved the game :)
It was really nice to play this game, I even cried a bit at the end. It was a quick one cause I wasn't writing it down, but I imagined a precious small town in the middle of nowhere and took a break there, which was really nice! From all the gifts I only kept the divination cards and then gifted the rest to my friends, and each seemed to fit them so well that it felt really bad to lose one. I will try to work this game into a campaign in the future, I think my players might enjoy the break and it could work in a very interesting way for character development. Thank you for your work!
Had a really cool character duo we made up to play this game. They started Spring being really close friends and through the story they each developed their own ideas regarding Her and split up. In the end, one became a preacher of some sorts and the other stopped believing in her return; She did not come back. It is ironic because the first time our characters encountered Her, they were “sparring” with sticks, so they were already fighting in a way.
It was a 1GM 1 player campaign run by my partner (their first time dming!) and the plot was about freeing a woman from a magic necklace she had been trapped inside of :D My partner played a bestie NPC to compliment my character and guide me a bit when I got stuck, and it was quite fun! The system is very intuitive and simple, but it packs a lot of story potential, which makes it super versatile and fun! Thanks for your work, it shows you gave it a lot of thought!!!
