Nope, they're supposed to be cg variants depending on which place the group went! Devs confirmed it's bugged rn and will be patched soon.

Hi, how did you trigger the rainy day event? This is the first time I'm hearing of it.
Also wanted to let you know there's more variants of the library cgs depending on which place you go with both groups; the devs confirmed on their Tumblr it's currently bugged and will be patched soon! If you check the gallery and click on each library cg, there’ll be 1/3 or 1/2 available.
Loved the atmosphere of the demo! The artsyle, music and the ui really lend itself to a captivating story. Kirei was a standout to me for her sharp tongue and vulnerable heart, and her meeting with Corben was so mysterious and magical, I really want to see them meet again!
I'm interested in seeing how the two paths for her will diverge and learning more of the characters and their pasts.
Just finished playing through all the routes, and I had a good time! Celene is such a gorgeous MC (Blue MC is a sweetheart!) and the boys also felt unique and precious in their own way.
The group banter was one of my favorite part of the game, it really felt like they knew each other for a good amount of time, with some naturally butting heads or getting along swimmingly. I'm looking forward to the full game!
Thank you for your gracious response. If I came across as accusatory or entitled in my earlier response, I apologize, as that was not my intention. I'm sorry that it encouraged another person to accuse you of being "shady," that was not what I wanted to happen.
To clarify, Teachers being paid was not what I disagreed with at all. If you check my profile, you can see that I purchased Death is a Guest so if the devs decided to keep Teachers as paid permanently, I support their decision. And I say this as someone who did not finish the game when it was free. Money was not my issue. When Teachers appeared as paid on my feed, I thought that the change would be received better if it was communicated ahead of time. But I admit that I should have waited longer for an announcement before making my comment, and if the devs don't have this issue, I accept that. I wanted to clear up any misunderstandings, hence the length.
On a different note, I read the latest post and appreciate the explanation. Have you considered reaching out to streamers such as Blerdy Otome to cover your game or posting on Otome reddit? I have also seen other devs who are fundraising give mutual shout-outs to their projects. That may help to get more attention on your campaign. I wish you the best of luck.
I was surprised to suddenly see this game become paid after initially releasing for free. The devs deserve to be paid, but my main issue is the lack of transparency. I remember from the last game released, there were some comments that were surprised that the final release was not free when their previous releases were. An announcement beforehand would have solved this.
Since this happened again, I wanted to comment and sincerely ask the devs to be mindful and better communicate changes like this to their players.
I'm sad to see that it's the end for BCB for the foreseeable future, but looking forward to your upcoming otome! The character writing in BCB was my favorite part and imo the strongest part. They all felt like real teenagers (read: Alex as an older sibling) so even if there were some tropes I wasn't a fan of, I still very much enjoyed the game. Never thought Doug would be my favorite romance, and Sam my favorite route (besides the final route) lol.
Also older MC and older LIs? Count me in!
This was a fun demo! I really enjoyed the character dynamics, and the world-building was easy to understand and felt natural. The characters each felt like their own person and I could easily see the dynamic between Shizu and the love interests and how/why they'd fall for each other. Well, except for Hugh, but that's because he's hard to read lol. Liam and Faye are so cute and it never felt awkward to tease/flirt with them. Rowan I am eying with some anticipation, he and Shizu would be such a power couple!
MCs make or break dating sims for me, so Shizu was a breath of fresh air for being older as well as the responsible one of the group. I liked that she was competent and on equal footing with everyone, especially with tropes that can easily be the opposite, like the master-student thing with Faye or the sibling matter with Sei.
If I had to critique something, I'd say some of the transitions felt abrupt and the princess's true nature seemed a bit too on the nose when Shizu encounters her. Granted, I can also see it as being something the princess doesn't see the need to hide since no one would believe Shizu. Overall, I look forward to seeing what happens next! ^^
This was a fun demo, and I enjoyed interacting with the characters (and collecting their numbers like Pokemon lol). The UI was really cute (kudos to the designer) and really emphasized the summer theme of the game. The clock was a nice touch. Chris is so cute, and I could never make my MC leave him alone to go explore. Vince was an unexpected runner up, man tries so hard to socialize and it's charming. Overall looking forward to the full release!
There were some things I did find confusing at first. It took me a bit to find how to customize hair and clothes since I initially didn't notice the page turn so a clearer indicator would help. When ordering food from Chris, I was under the impression that we would only pick one item and so was confused as to how much more I had to add to my order so maybe adding a "that's it" option earlier would help.
Thisis more on the nitpicky side, so feel free to take it with a grain of salt. I liked the customization for the MC but the chibi artstyle doesn't quite match with the character sprites. It feels a little jarring to see on-screen, like when MC is frustrated but their expression doesn't match the emotion because it always appears the same. It would be nice to have an option to turn off the MC portrait.
Played the demo and had a blast! Teresa was such a fun mc to play as and there was a nice balance of humor and tension. The first time I played, I got the bad end towards the end of the demo and had to rewind to pick another choice to not get offed. The villains aren't playing around and I hope to see this be maintained even as they start to fall in love with Teresa. (Good luck girl!)
Minor spoilers(?) for the questions
1. I'd probably pick Vicenzo as my first route since he seems to be more reasonable than Edel and already looks to have a bit of a soft spot for her. Edel is fun to interact with but I'll need to see more of him to want to go for his route.
2. My favorite scenes were the ones with her friends and brother. The mutual teasing and "I've got your back" is great to see, especially when I dislike seeing the og heroine as a scheming manipulator or a doormat to let the villainess shine. Also the accurate sibling representation. <3
3. They are villainous enough for me. I thought they had the right amount of charisma and in the grey for me to not be turned off. Plus their voices are nice.
4. This is fun speculation but I was looking through the faq and noticed that the answer for whether we'd get more love interests was rather... vague. So I started thinking of who would fit the criteria, and Teresa mentioned that that there were 4 ros in the og game. So far, we've seen three in the demo: the prince (confirmed non-romancable), our brother (nope), and Henry is already taken. So that leaves the fourth ro who has not appeared yet. With current knowledge he'd be my bet if another route is added.
Wow, this was quite the ride! The sprites are gorgeous and the UI really fits the scary carnival vibes. I initially thought Remy was going to be the "softest" route but that plot twist a the end took me out lol. Leon was my favorite route but Jude imo has the best blush sprite since I did not expect him to look that cute. <3 The group dates were really also fun to read!
On a side note, does anyone know how to unlock the 4th CG in Casey's route? Followed the guide but it didn't activate.
