lil story I made for fun :P

"I don't wanna play!" Rowankit huffed, looking up at his mother, Lilacpath. Crystalkit, his older sister, kept trying to play moss ball with him, but kept falling due to his kittenish body. "You'll have to play some time," Lilacpath told him, nudged him up. Rowankit's dark-red fur was ruffled from the tossing of the small bundle of moss."No!" He hissed, tucking his paws onto his muzzle, while digging into the comfortable moss bed he was laying on. "Don't be a baby, Rowankit!" Crystalkit hissed. Rowankit curled up, ignoring her. He was going to prove everyone wrong, including Crystalkit. He was going to be leader, and he had his mind set on it. Rowankit awoken rather early, looking around the milk scented nursery. It was quiet and peaceful, yet the young kit felt the need to prove himself to his family. He picked himself up, groggily shuffling his way outside into camp. Bramblestar looked down from the stone he was perched upon. "Good morning, Rowankit. Up and early I see?" His voice was deep and intimidating. (I'm not sure what he actually sounds like so he is a deep voiced guy :P) Rowankit shivered. his voice ran coldly down his spine. "Um.. Yes." He answered, quickly padding away from his view. He looked at Nightkit, timidly standing beneath her mother. Upon seeing him, she spoke up. "I hope in turn, Rowankit, that-" Her mother's ear splitting hiss cut her off. "NIGHTKIT! BE QUIET!" Nightkit seemed to shrink down. "Sorry." She whispered, hopefully looking at Rowankit. He didn't really know what to say, so he hesitantly looked and Nightkit before running off to the cliff, where Fallenfeather sat on the other sight. Her gaze flickered to the red kit. "You shouldn't be here, kit." She mewed, rather softly. Rowankit rolled his eyes, puffing out his chest fur. "I'm not just a kit! I'm gonna be leader someday!" He boasted, imagining standing on the large boulder where Bramblestar proudly addressed news to the clan, creating an influence on the apprentices and kits that watched him. Fallenfeather looked unamused, raising a brow. "Leaders know how to listen to other cats. Now go back to the nursery." She instructed. Rowanpaw grumbled under his breath in anger before padding back to the nursery, where an enraged, yet groggy, Lilacpath sat, waiting for him. Rowankit knew something like a lecture would be given to him.

"Why in the place of cold waters did you leave the nursery without MY consent?" Lilacpath meowed sternly. Rowankit's throat felt dry. "Um... I was going to fight a badger, or a fireclay cat! You see?" He explained, jumping up and biting down into the flank of an imaginary enemy. Lilacpath scowled. "In the nursery. Now." She ordered, marching Rowankit back to the moss nest. Crystalkit bounded up to him, pawing his head hard. "Hey loser! I heard about the lecture Lilacpath gave to you. You're such a mouse-brain!" She teased. For a few heartbeats, Rowankit felt sheer anger within him, finally lashing out at his sibling. "ENOUGH!" He screeched, grabbing Crystalkit's scruff hardly and slamming her to the ground. Crystalkit let out a cut out cry as Rowankit pinned her with one hooked claw at her throat, daring her to move. "I'm sorry! I really am!" She cried. Rowankit hissed before giving a nasty glare to her and curled up into the nest. He hears Lilacpath gasp once she comes back into the nursery from doing something like a patrol or hunting. "What happened!?" She screeched, sprinting to a wounded and bleeding Crystalkit. "He--" Rowankit lifted his head. Crystalkit lowered herself to the ground. "I... I got caught between two bramble thorn bushes, and my pelt got torn up." She lied. "We'll get you to Milkywillow, alright?" Lilacpath whispered. Crystalkit nodded slowly. Lilacpath gently and carefully, picked up Crystalkit up and outside the brambles. Creamfrost turned her head to Rowankit, who was originally sleeping, or daydreaming. "You can play with Breezekit, Rowankit." She told him. He sighed. "No, thanks. I'm just worried about Crystalkit." He lied. he hated Crystalkit and never wanted to see her again. Plus, he was tired and had to wash up the blood on him. He lapped at his right forepaw, the tang of blood feeling nasty on his tongue. His back was turned from Creamfrost, and hoped she wouldn't notice. "Are you dirty? I can groom you." She offered. "No thanks. I got it." He mewed, still licking a forepaw.

After a few minutes of grooming, He finally had his whole pelt clean and shiny, but most importantly, not bloody. Lilacpath soon came into the den, smelling strongly of dock leaves and many other herbs. She squeezed forward t silently curl up with Rowankit, for it was night and dark. Had he been grooming for that long? "Where's Crystalkit?" He asked quietly, looking around the neatly built moss nest he was laying on. "She was told to stay with Milkywillow. Now hurry and sleep." She replied groggily. Obeying to the order, Rowankit let his eyes slower flicker into a dream filled slumber.
