So i tried it a bit more and i can only use it while sprinting, it's just when moving not standing still with Shift.

Is there a way to change the controls? Because i hit my page down and up and nothing happens but i can't find a way to change it

So i didn't have time to try those methods before but now i have tried all the ones in that note and none of them work. 
Solution A: This one launches but then doesn't even get to the main menu. Solution B: It doesn't work at all and only shows errors.
If anybody has any tips on what i can try then please help, i really want to play this game as i have for a long while.

I can't remember doing anything related to a military path, so i don't think this is the case. What starts the military path? If i knew then i would know for sure if it's the same issue.

So i'm bugged and can't continue. I went to sleep after failing to steal the black book and woke up but when i try to leave it says that i need to go to bed which i can't so i can't leave or reload anything because it asked me if i wanted to save when i went to bed.

I can't launch the game because it says it can't find something named MSVCR120.dll, i'm not that good with tech so i'm wondering what i have to do.

It was the full game.

I don't know if this is just me but i can't play the game after this latest update.
I get to the menu, press New Game and then it crashes, please let me know if there's a fix for it.

I got the notification about a new version of the game only for there to no longer be any zip files of the game to download. I am inept at working with computers so i don't know if this is just a me issue. Edit: The issue has been resolved.

I don't know if this is just for me but i cannot see any zips to download or a download button at all, might just be me missing something since i'm not the most savvy with computers and stuff. I am however looking forward to playing it more.

Same here, i can't go back from any menu when i've entered them after this new update, i can't change the buttons either.
