Hey there! Since you said development will be continued after the jam, a way to really polish the game would be to take advantage of the particles 2d node. You could have it on the back of the submarine shooting out smoke, or have a particle effect for when you get hit. Amazing game!
I started it up for the first time, skipped all the dialog, ran in a very random direction and reached my home. Now I'm thinking that maybe I should've went the other way..
