Sorry, I know this comment is 3 months old, but I had this issue too. I went into the preferences shortly after starting and turned the background music down to hear her better :)
Hi! Sorry if this seems pushy in any way - are you still planning on releasing the full version? Totally understand if not, just excited to play. Will continue to play the demo in the mean time!
