Jedna z najliepszych indie, w jakie gralem w swojim zyciu. :)
Dalej na enlgish bo juz troche zapomnialem polski i nie na tyle go znam aby wyrazic swoje zachwycenie to gra! Przepraszam!
Again, one of the best, cutest, coziest and atmospheric indie games out there. I am not one of those who praises something good merely because people rarely make it these days, but this is just not the case.
One of the game's strongest points was the incredible voice acting done by what I can only describe as a team of professionals and seemingly (or, more like, "hearingly" lol) very sweet people, as well as all the other devs involved into this beautiful project. I watched the credits and I really felt the love and passion put into this project. I was impressed the most by the voices of Pan Arkadiusz and Pan Prowadzacy. I could not tell the difference between listening to actual people having a convo on the actual radio broadcast. However all the other voices in the game do not go worse and keep on the same level, even that "kid95" made me sincerely smile.
I really enjoyed the core gameplay around the Forum community and seeing how users, each one having their own typical character, gather around pictures the player takes and uploads, even having a choice of which one to upload, makes it more personal. The whole story based around solving some very local mystery is extremely "cozy" and gave me a sense of something I'd call "Scooby-Doo fun", like something I was feeling as a kid watching that cartoon.
Now, there are like few things for me that could've been done better (or, well, make the game perfect), like:
1 - the inability to save, which made me keep my pc on sleep for 3 days just so I can finish the game without restarting over and over (that is the only major one, I'd say);
2 - mouse's scrolling wheel barely working on the forum. Had to push the page down with mouse button (again - not the major one, just a slight discomfort, if we talking perfection here). There's also some small interaction confusions within the forum's interface, like pressing "mail" button overlays other windows and you can't switch a tab before you close that exact one you're on, etc etc.. but hey, thats 2000s for ya, right?
3 - some variety for windows light in the buildings (2-story buildings feel copy-pasted), some variety for cars (2 would be enough).
Also I can see some potential for deeper mechanics like charging you camera or flashlight, or finding a disk with all those games that are unavailable on desktop. That might feel unnecesary for 3-day story, but to me it would add to immersion, which is one of the main characteristics in that type of games imo. But again, I don't want to get too hypocritical and I think the authors did their job outstandingly enough, telling the story with just the right pace and depth.
Additionally, I would also like some photos taken in-game to be saved somewhere on my computer for memories (they're pretty aesthetic), but that's a personal preference.
Welp, with that said, hopefully there will be more games from UnderTheSink and more atmosperic and creepy stories to dig into! Dziękuję!
