You know, not what I expected, but I had fun.

What I've seen of this game looks very promising so far. The art is really good, especially the character designs, and the characterization of Shu and Cylla are pretty compelling. I also really like cosmic horror, and I could tell you did your homework on their original mythology, so that gets points from me.
I did have one question though. When *spoilers* the protagonist and Emily find what the protagonist assumes is a hurt girl, only for her to reveal herself to be a cultist and gun shots ring out, is it supposed to cut off there? Or is there something else I should be doing to continue? I tried reloading one of my saves, knowing there are a couple novels out there that make use of that mechanic, but nothing played out any different. I know this is a demo, but how abrupt it was made me wonder if I missed something. Any advice on the matter would be appreciated!
This was really interesting. I liked the atmosphere of the coffee shop, the dim, melancholy feeling it gives off. I liked Lucille's demeanor too, the way you can tell she knows something more, even though you don't find out what it is for awhile. Though the part that got to me the most was probably *spoilers* when you're asked to type in your name. And afterwords, seeing it incorporated into the text, after using so many other beforehand, seeing your own name acknowledged in the text felt really powerful.
I ran into the same bug. It would happen if I went into Gareth's room after the flashback cut scene with Zakhar and Gareth, and the conversion with Zakhar. Zakhar would come after me to kill me, like he does in the "bring him" path, but regardless of what I'd done beforehand in between the cut scenes and Gareth's room. The only way I got around it was going into his room before seeing the secret room with Zakhar.
I'm not sure if this was the intention or not, but the imagery and the way it affected the main character reminder me of psychosis, specifically of the guilt-themed type. Maybe like psychotic depression? If so, it was interesting to see a depiction of it, even if the game was a little too short to see how well Lavender would cope with it.
To get the True Ending, do the same thing up until the point where Nika asks if you're scared. Then instead of "No" select "Yes". After she says she's going to wait for you, *do not* go over to the ladder. Doing this will also trigger the Happy End. Instead was over to where she is. Doing this will trigger new dialogue that leads into the True End.
