Hey everyone, Azzy here with some honestly deserved updates for you all! I'm sure everyone's been curious about the state of Eden's Reach's development. Rest assured, we haven't been sitting idly by! The next build is to be one of the most dense and saturated builds of the VN, containing nothing but CGs, and LOTS of them! For clarity and full disclosure upon the release gap between the previous build and the current one, here are some details regarding Build 4.3's development; Progress Notes:

• The next build will approximately have 34+ pages of multiple CGs!
• Each page has multiple CG-worthy images in a comic book style, totaling to about 120+ CGs.
• Release date is still tentative, so please stay tuned for more progress updates.

To end this announcement, I'm here to showcase three public teasers that we have agreed to show to everyone. I hope you're all as excited as I am to release this build, and I wish you all a great rest of your day!

In the files, it's called evanescent.ogg.

Thus, the assumption: Evanescent by Hugh. Not sure if you'll find it anywhere, though. I've been unable to :(

Saves are usually stored in C:/Users/<username>/AppData/Roaming/RenPy

AppData is a hidden folder by default. To see it, you need to enable "Hidden Items" under the View tab

If there is no RenPy folder under Roaming, it's possible the folder got deleted. I'd suggest check your Recycling Bin and see if you can restore it. If it isn't there, it's probably gone :(

HOLY SHIT YEEEEEESSSSS WELCOME BAAACK

Hoo-boy. This was such an emotional roller-coaster for me. I (like an idiot) ignored the warnings and am now suffering because of it - not the game's fault though!

This VN is so beautiful and complicated and damn interesting. Every time some major lore would drop it would send shivers down my spine (The overarching Flynn lore, anybody?) and I loved it.

Personally, TJ was my favorite character-wise, but goddamn I loved playing Leo's route. It personally helped me connect so many dots from the other routes and it felt so damn satisfying.

I played TJ's route first (a great introduction, which left me sobbing by the end), then Flynn's,  Leo's, and - finally, Jenna's; which seemed to piece together a LOT of loose threads. Once you actually play through everything, the game starts to make more sense, and, I must say, wow.

I love the story so damn much, even if it is a bit confusing

Damn, now I'm so attached to these characters - moreso than any other game I've ever played. They just... feel so real to me, feel like actual people instead of just some boring characters. This VN has some of the best character work I've seen in a long, long time.

Let me just say this again: I loved this VN so much it hurts. Personally, this became my favorite game ever, and that really says something (I'm quite picky). This was a fantastic experience and I'm looking forward to replaying it with a new understanding of what's happening.

I have to agree with this. TJ's route is the least mentally-jarring and is a great introduction, and it gets more and more confusing as you go down other routes.

Personally I did TJ > Flynn > Leo

Yeah. The other ending for that route is kinda fucked ngl, but letting go still hurts a lot.

Huh, alright. If you click Ignore does the game just crash or can you try to load a save?

I'd suggest trying to load each and every save file to see if any of them work.

At least for me, on the Sissel route, I was able to load a previous save and only lose about 30 minutes of progress. Good luck!

The latest update seems to have broken my save, giving me a rollback error

To anyone else who has this issue: dear god I hope you had multiple saves. I was able to load an earlier save and get back to where I was.

For the Sissel route, load back into the choice where you can pick between Courtyard / Lunchroom / Office and you should be good

Literally the best christmas present ever

I really, really love this game! It's super fun, has great story, and just grabs you by the throat and makes you play more (lol). Love the character designs and artwork as well! Everything looks beautiful.

Also, for having 4k assets? This runs quite well on my rather old laptop.

I do have one question, though. Do you have any plans for any kind of Eric route?

Damn... I've only gotten two endings thus far, but... it hits so hard. I'm still crying, damnit. I love this game, I love the characters, and it hurts me to know that I won't get more content than what already exists here.

This is freaking awesome. Quickly became my absolute favorite game I've ever played... I... damn. I need to go cry into a pillow now...

Also, I'm just a little sad my favorite character doesn't have a romance route...

This is such a good game, thank you so much for your amazing work. I'm going to keep these characters in my heart and try to not let it break...

I absolutely love this VN. It was the first one I've ever played, and honestly it's still one of my favorites. I love the artstyle, characters, story, you name it.

Other than being a little sad that my save is broken from the new update (I know that's a Ren'Py thing, not a problem with the game), I'm so happy this is still getting updates!

This VN is so freaking good. For one thing, the art style. I LOVE it (especially Spencer's design <3). The story sucks you right in, and it's so interesting. There's just the right mix of serious conversations and humor. Oh, and the main character is so darn relatable in some ways. You've done such a good job, this has quickly become one of my top 3 VNs I've played. I'm super excited for the next update, and I can't wait to see what you have in store for Spencer!

nvm I figured it out. Anyone else confused, download 0.13 for the rest of the story after 4.5.8, the chapter names and versioning is a bit weird

Alright, I'm a little confused. I have chapters 1-7 downloaded from the front page (4.5.8 PC). It leaves off with the MC saying "welcome home" to Ranok. I'd really like to download chapter 8-13, because I love this game. When I click the "download now" button above, though, it just sends me back to the front page, where I can either download 4.5.8 or 0.13. How do I download chapters 8 through 13?
