I'm agree about Rohan. When we belittle him, the narration makes us feel like we just kick a skinny little puppy 😂 I kinda like to do it to him, but it also makes me feel bad. But still like it 😂
I really like how you characterized the MC, but still make room for our choice to matter. Any other IF would make the MC a blank slate so we can project the personality onto them (our supposed choice in their personality add nothing to the flavour text), but nah Idk I never like that kind of approach. Like, why bother?
However, in yours, there's clearly a semblance of predetermined traits on the MC here and there. At least that's the impression I got 😂 I maybe just creating things on my head because I have soft spot for this IF.
This is definitely one of the IF Twine with best game mechanic so far. Putting the puzzle one by one giving me the thrill and itch to find out wtf is happening. Still, I don't manage to solve ot because my save was lost and losing my progress is too much for me haha. I will get back at this once more.

I see. I often found IF games with customizable gender and sexuality for MC, but felt like it was heavily written on a certain gender and sexuality. I think it's more about the writing.
That's why I usually compromising by customizing my MC based on the writing.
