Plays card game, complains about the odds
Bruh
I don't really get the game, is it just "place card, attack" or does it has something else to it later on?
So far it feels like an auto battler without any of the auto parts and apparently there is no downside to loosing?
Not saying it's bad, i like the menu design, but i don't understand the point of it
I haven't paid attention to a game in a while and this finally made me get out of my comfort zone to try something new.
Even in such an early version it's really fun and surprisingly relaxed
I expected an inventory management game to be CBT but this is genuinely well handled, i also like how there's very little luck and unlike other games of this genre, you can actively avoid enemies that can hard counter you at the cost of loosing out on XP and rewards
I see little kids using it like facebook "I did X today" "I will be offline for a while" another half making random requests for mods and whatnot and the rest just posting stuff that idk if they are trolling or they broke their keyboard.
Ocassionally there's a showcase of some low quality mod or fanart which at the very least is fitting for the forum but it's still just that, low quality
The colors are the least of the issues, if anything, black and white give the best balance
The issue is how everything graphic wise is designed like for example the fake shading akin to Win 95
The game being in just 2 colors also makes it hard to see, nothing stands out and finding buttons is a chore in itself
The graphics are hard to see to begin with, but the mouse trail and how "slow" it moves makes pressing the small buttons harder than it needs to be, everything being the same color makes it hard to even find the buttons on the UI
I get that the idea was to give a retro look, but this is ridiculous
The fact that the campaigns have as much plot as a creepy pasta doesn't help much either
