I enjoyed this game for its smooth transitions, polished feeling and the use of special feature. The platforms being nearly the same color as the background is a bit annoying for the eye and also, I couldn't figure out at first that I have to hold Z in order to glide. At one point I nearly quit the game because of this, but then I read that it's a flying hat/gliding mechanic in the comments here so I figured out that I actually have to hold the button :)

I think it was a really good idea for this game jam, it was fun to play once, but it was annoying that I didn't my items disappeared or didn't even get it that I needed to wrap, which you and others already mentioned :)

Apart from a bit strange story/writing I enjoyed the intro and it was a nice touch that you had to start the game by entering the chimney :)

I was trying to play your game, but I "won" the game in the first 5 seconds because I pushed "F" as the text suggested. Then I played again and won again like 4 times any time I pressed "F". I can't really rate this as I didn't really see the game nor did I understand what I should do :D

Nice game, but from a game design perspective, there's no challenge in this as you don't take any damage when you are in elf form. I'm not sure if it was a bug only for me, but because of that, I didn't even turn to Satanic Nicholas form, as why would if I'm invincible and can walk fast to the end of the game? :D

The art is gorgeous and the theme implementation is 5 stars. However, the special feature wasn't implemented at all and as Wrong Way Games already mentioned, having these long spaces to the city, from city to cave and in the cave is very artificial and I didn't really find it fun to to go through second time just to try to see what happens if I didn't steal the sleigh.

Gonna try it now :)

Thank you a lot! Yep had I have more time I would of polished it even more :)

Yep, you might be right :) I tried to make it challenging from the start and getting easier when you buy more clothes so that way you have a more gratifying feeling of accomplishment

Totally agree! It was planned actually, but I reduced the scope at the end in order to finish in time. Thanks for the feedback!

Web build doesn't load , it stops at 90% and it throws an error in the javascript console

I just tried to play your game, but it crashes. Maybe that's the reason why they are not playing it :)

If you fix it, I'll play it and rate it as well and if you could do the same with mine, I'd appreciate it!

Thank you, appreciate your feedback! Noo, you cannot cure that, it's just a bit of a dark joke to be honest :) Due to time constraints, the sounds were put in the last hours so that's why they are the way they are

Like others said before me, The visuals and audio are top notch and the gameplay is fine :) There's not much use of the special object, but the theme implementation and atmosphere is gorgeous! Overall, I enjoyed it. Btw, I think your developer forgot to normalize your move vector, so running in horizontal or vertical direction pushing two keys at the time makes your character move like 1.5 times faster :)

Thanks, noted :)

I intentionally left it unskippable for 2 reasons:

  • Players wouldn't get what the game is about if they skip it
  • I done it in the last minute so I didn't want people to skip my last minute efforts :D

I tried to play your game on my mac emulating it by Crossover, but it crashes :(

Maybe you could upload it in a WebGL format?

I'm not sure I understand this :\

I love the graphics, the audio and the aesthetics of the game! Pretty cool stuff if they were done in these 4 days :)

Thanks! Yea, it might need some tweaks, I agree with you. It was done in the last hours so that's why the Intro, Outro and Lose screen are not polished :)

Exactly my same thoughts. I played it through though as it's fun and polished!

I might ask for your cooperation :) Do you have any references that can be checked online?
