There was a poll a while ago talking about which animals should be added - it asked for top 3 choices and bunnies were a choice. So hopefully we'll see this sooner than later.

The unofficial Discord has a whole section dedicated to modding! Unfortunately the official one was deleted due to stresses w/ moderating a server of that size, but the unofficial (now official? who knows) server has around 17,000 members.

You could try reaching out to West via socials like Twitter, or their email. Unfortunately they've been pretty quiet recently due to some bad actors that quietly filtered in when the game blew up, but I imagine West would be down for this. They've talked about updating the game much more before.

You don't have to worry about the "hackers" like Grincher, etc. as long as you don't accept their mail or join their lobbies. A lot of the things they were originally able to do -- like corrupting save files -- have been patched by rewrites to the game's code on the 13th. Even if they join a public lobby you're in, you can safely ignore them.

There's been a lot of fear mongering within the community unfortunately, but as long as you don't interact with the exploiters in any way (e.g not accepting mail from people you don't know) you should be more than fine.
