Yeah I have a visual novel style example project in the works at the moment.

I’ve just uploaded a new copy of the C# project that should fix that issue.

Oh, you’re right. I had fixed the C# version but missed one line in the GDScript one. It should be good this time.

I’ve updated a bunch of stuff in this example (including a bunch of the underlying Dialogue Manager stuff) so it should be better now.

To get those examples you have to clone the repository instead of just downloading it.

I’ve updated the files in the projects to the most recent version of Dialogue Manager. If you download a fresh copy and give it a try it should work better now.

I’ll be making a full run-through video now that I’ve finished adding a bunch of new stuff.

Yeah I think text-based dialogue editing is quicker to write and easier to read.

I’m almost finished on a couple of big improvements to the parser and then I’ll add an example project and walk-through video including the newer stuff.

To do something like that “attack” example, I’d just use the “do” keyword and point to a method like do attack("some attack").
