Yes the checkpoint system and the fact we can go back to town at all time was definitely a good idea ;) ! 

Some really nice ideas, with a bit more polish and time the gameplay could definitely be improved but overall it's a solid game with surprisingly quite a lot of content. I'm not the hugest fan of 2D platformers in general and even less of going back and forth between levels so it's not 100% my jam but it was fun to try!

Nice idea for a really good concept. I was a bit lost at times and some of the crucial items you need to complete the game sometimes clipped into the walls and disappeared. Having an option to pass the dialogues quicker would have been great as I had to restart the game multiple times. But I managed to complete it in the end.
