Enjoyed the game. Reminds me of playing games like Gradius 3, R-Type, and Zero Wing!

I'm barely getting past the first set of enemies lol! This is definitely a challenge

This is pretty good!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still working on the game, and I'll be making the necessary changes to provide a more enjoyable experience.

A nice relaxing theme. Good work

Reminds me of Yoshi's Island, with a touch of Kirby's Dreamland. thoroughly enjoyed it!

Welcome to my BGM Jam!

This jam is dedicated to the hard-working music composers here on Itch, and those working in the mainstream.

As indie devs,  we know how challenging it can be to wear all of the hats at times during the dev process, and so help is always appreciated,  when we get some. A good music composer is a valuable asset to the team, because through their music, they can set the tone and feel to the levels we create, and also inspire the level design. In my early days of learning game dev, I found a great deal of inspiration for a Heaven-themed table for a pinball game I was working on,  by listening to the Enhasa theme from Chrono Trigger.

The goal of this jam is to share our creativity in the music area, while showing appreciation to the musicians in the industry. Let's go make some music!

Nice, looking forward to it

That was a pretty good mash-up. really enjoyed it.

Well made. Brings back memories, and the 3D look ties it all together!

Good concept! Enjoyed the animation, and the game provided some challenge. Do you have any music and/or sound effects planned?

Noticed there's a price tag on your jam submission. Make sure that any game you submit is free to play so the community can freely rate it.

Edit: changed the deadline to National Gamers Day!

I'm late getting this post going, but here goes...

The Quad Cities Indie Arcade Jam is a jam tribute to the days of  video arcades! While it's intended to draw and showcase talent in the Quad Cities area, all are encouraged to participate! To kick things off, the theme is arcade games made between 1980-1999.

Voting is  open to the public, so anyone can join in the discussion. Either win or learn! Or both!

I'm hoping this will be a fun jam for people of all ages, as parents and grandparents can show their children the games that they played, by learning how to make them together.

Here's the link: https://itch.io/jam/quad-cities-indie-arcade-jam

Would roguelites be acceptable for the jam?

Nice engine! I was wondering, can this be used for broken sections of track?

This is Elemental- a twist on a classic game where you race to be the first to have no cards left in your hand! At your disposal are 5 card types- basic, battle, special, wild and swap element- across 4 elements-fire, water, wind, and light! Currently, the game is available on the MakePlayingCards Marketplace, but there's a link to reach it on the posting page:https://negastar.itch.io/elemental-card-game

It could work like that, but it's mainly just some pics that I took to show how they look when in use.

Hey, I've got two fonts up for sale at $1 each, that may be useful in your projects!

The first is called Arcadian, inspired by a design I created for a game concept.

The second is HexaGothic, something I was experimenting with on paper originally.

 Here's a link to each:

Arcadian-https://negastar.itch.io/arcadian-font

HexaGothic -https://negastar.itch.io/hexagothic-font

It's there... it's the Windows Version link. I screwed up while making the post, and the links wound up between the screenshots lol

Are you up to the challenge?

MDG is a top-down arcade defense shooter that puts you in control-- not of the ship, but DiGTS, the orbiting gun protecting it!

Controls are simple, just click and drag your mouse/finger around the ship to rotate DiGTS! Use Backspace/Back button to toggle pause,  and Escape to exit!

The blue bar is your DiGTS level, and red is your ship's shields.

DiGTS lv. 2

Get it here:

Thanks! I have a lot more planned for it.

Defend the mobile base in Vanguard!

Vanguard is a top-down shooter for Android with a slight twist-- don't let too many enemies pass by! Try your luck in Endless Mode, or try out Main Mode, and see if you can defeat the boss!

  • Currently, there's a single stage in Main Mode, with a boss at the end. Endless mode is mostly ready, with some changes planned and underway.
  • More bosses in the making
  • more music and sound is planned

The game can be found here: https://negastar.itch.io/vanguard-demo

Video from an earlier test run:

This is really good!

Thanks! I'm working toward a full version, with updated graphics!

It's fixed and ready. Heres the link: https://negastar.itch.io/radion

Coming from a fan of Tetris Attack, you did good. This made me want to break out the SNES and do a speed run

pretty good gameplay and graphics. Like how it gets more challenging as you go.

No problem.. I'm still working on it, and I'll make sure to add your suggestions as I work toward a final release.
