Thank you for the feedback and for playing our game! You got a subscription 😉
I am a bit on the fence with the visuals. I like the clean minimal look we decided on (and that was necessary to fit this into a game jam) and it invokes purgatory and helps you focus on the gameplay, but my original vision was a bit more elaborate. I might play around with it a bit more!
Hi! Thank you for trying our game!
There are two builds available, the windows build that you download and the webgl one that runs when you click on Run Game and plays directly in the browser.
From the error message it sounds like the issue is with the second one. I can't recreate it, which browser are you using?
If you say download, do you mean this file?
This was pretty fun and challenging. For such a basic concept there's actually a bit of strategy. Really enjoyed the music and it fits the game well. I think the actual game lacks some audio feedback though. A leaderboard or randomized levels would add a lot of replayability. The really liked the clean minimalist art style.
I love the art. Audio would have added a lot to the feel and some visual feedback or effects could make the game easier to understand at first. I was confused about why units weren't placing at the beginning.
Not all the units are very useful and once you know which units are OP it becomes a little tedious. Otherwise a fun little distraction.
Thank you so much for your feedback!
I am pushing another update out on Friday/Saturday with two more monster models and a big change to combat.
From now on monsters always attacks first, but they can also miss. This makes combat much riskier, but the fact that they can miss, keeps up hope even when things seem very bleak!
A clue for the next location: you will find out that while you fixed the radio, there is no signal down in the valley...
