Thank you, you just gave me the nudge I needed to work on the sequel to this game. Im happy to hear you enjoyed it so much and picked up on some of the details I was trying to work through. Keep an eye out for JD2 which will have a slew of more enemies and different weapons.

Good call. I'll do both in the next iteration

Fantastic game, but could use a level counter to let us know how close we are to finishing. I stopped at a certain point as I felt the game would never reach conclusion, but if I knew I just had x levels left, I probably would have tried to complete it.

Nice, the stamina was a good trick that makes it better than the old track and field games. I got a little confused as to how the sack race was supposed to work

Haha, that was great fun. You took a boring game concept, threw in a fun story and made an enjoyable game.

==Feature Suggestions==

I am going to be working on up to 10 new weapons and enemy types. Feel free to make suggestions for them, or any other things you feel would improve the game

Game Play Videos Thread - If you did some crazy fighting, post up the videos here.

Top Scores Thread - post them as replies to this. Whenever Panic adds network access to games, I will add in a global high score board.

Could you add a campaign mode to the game with levels.  Each level could just be more people to save and faster water and lower dig power, and just keep progressing until the user can't save 75% of the people. The hardest level just doesn't have enough challenge, and I think the progressive difficulty with the rouge like fear of failure as things get harder would turn this into a real nail biter of an experience.

Wow, this is the most fun game ever for pico 8. I love what you did with the fluid dynamics. It makes you think about how the water is flowing, and it is fun to create a big bubble of air that flows to the top.

Please add for mac too.

Instead of doing a tutorial as a separate section, have it part of the gameplay. You could put signs on the wall at the bottom to show what to do initially (movement, jump, and then grapple).

I probably did what many people do and just clicked play, and couldn't get up to the first platform and didn't know about the grapple hook.

You could also make the grapple hook fire by default at 45 degree angles when you press the E or Q keys so that the game doesn't have to incorporate the mouse at all
