Hello, tried your game out. It's a fun little concept. The intro felt a tad bit too long. Also it took me a while to understand what I'm supposed to do as I went head on in it. It could use some sort of tutorial in game. Altho once I went to each location and messed around I figured out what to do. But wasn't really sure on how to complete the entire game.

The atmosphere and music was really soothing, yea the game can do more with better tutorial and instructions on what exactly to do.

It was very interesting. The movement was smooth and the audio choice seemed to fit the stages as well. The things to collect after mating was just a bit confusing, I was just moving around trying to get whatever looked safe to pass over.

Thanks for the feedback! I wanted to do a more and make it interesting but the plot i came up initially would originally have took up months to complete so I toned it down drastically. I agree that the ending is a bit of a disappointing ending since I went through it 5 times myself -.-'.

The music was soothing. And relaxing gameplay. I had a whole production line set up xD. I would suggest putting up some rules like "you can only place this structure next to a specific one" like graveyards can only be placed next to either a tree or road or cannot build gold mine next to house. Would keep the player engaged to build everything and use space strategically.

Tried your game, it was good. Great job completing the core gameplay even though it was rushed. Though I'm curious, what else did you want to add but didn't get enough time for it?

Nice game! Enjoyed it

Thank you!!!

Sorry about that, I'm still looking into why it's happening. I kept an option to restart anytime if you get stuck into walls. Glad you enjoyed it.

This game had good level progression. Really kept me on the run once things started once axes started spawning in armies.

Can you be specific what kind of bugs you encountered? So far I know that players get stuck in wall and climb over them or might fall into infinity if jumping from edge. Also, thanks for playing the game and feedback.

I'll look into why it happened after the voting period. Thanks for the feedback

I played your game 3 times. Stole the sleigh first run, went with the cross on second, and third without it. Is there any way to save Santa that I might have missed?

Apart from that it was a well made game. Nice to see how it transitioned when we reached significant places.

Hulk smash, Hulk Dash, Explosion!!! :>

I was worried at first that elf mode was kinda susceptible to damage but later noticed that there was nothing happening, so I went ahead and Kaboomed everybody. Nice one.

Great game, really enjoyed the simplicity and the aesthetic of the game.

Great game! Impressive work completing this masterpiece in 72 hrs.

Ahaha, nice one. You should put a stick pickup in your game so you can punish the naughty grinch with it.

This was quite enjoyable. A bit of advice though, it might be good to readjust the screen flashing as it might give problems to few people. The game was well done, and kept me engaged for a while.

That was amazing on how much you've implemented in your game in this short duration of time. I hope, I'll also be able to do something like this someday.

Took a bit of time to figure out how to play, as there were no instructions. The objects also sometimes went offscreen, so few of which went outside my view I wasnt able to interact with.

The game is interesting though. Enjoyed it.

This game was really good. The music was excellent, gameplay was simple to understand, and didnt find any problems with it. I enjoyed it.

Ah I see, well good effort on your first game jam. I hope you enjoyed it, cheers!

This was good

The game was good but I think your character spawned at the wrong side of the stage. I spawned at the area where I got 4 keys and when I went to the other side of parkour, there was nothing there.

Also, was there any way of interacting with the santa hat. I didn't quite get it.

The game was well done. But there were no clear instructions on how to start game from main menu or how to interact with the goblins (or elves). It was only after pressing a lot of keys did i realize how to proceed.

Just gonna leave the controls here for now for anyone who might visit the game later and might see comments first:

Enter key - Start game from main menu

Mouse hover close to goblins (elves) - Chat with them

G key - Give them items they need.

Final item to be delivered to christmas tree.

Cool Game. The 40 point turret somehow felt better compared to the 80 one, it had a better range but slower attack speed. Also was there a set time for turrets to stay on field or was it the enemies shooting it down? I couldn't tell.

The music was really good. The game was good, but I didn't really know why the mechanic was stopping in place was there. Didn't really feel a need for it.

The character speed was very slow, maybe add power ups on the way that speeds up your character if the current speed was intended. Snowball launcher worked wonderfully. Music and visuals also fit the bill.

Enjoyed your game! The idea was good. Few NPC talk too fast to make sense of it. A question, to cure his alcoholism, do I have to clear the game while his drunkenness is 0? Or no matter what I do his alcoholism doesn't go away?

This was amazing, I really love stealth games and you did a very good job at it! For last stage I went full on speedrun mode coz stealth wasn't getting me nowhere xD

I like how the game feels rhythmic. Makes you feel like you are jumping depending on the rhythm. Quite interesting concept.

Good one! The detailing was much well done.

One thing that is apparent that there are very serious trust issues among the elves. I was trying to make sense of all the clues and went with accusing happy elf, and later that conclusion came along which made me feel dumb as well for thinking too much about it. Anyways, aside from that, it's been a long time since I played a investigation themed game, cheers. Merry Christmas!

I guess the game is still under development. Did you do the art and music and scripting everything by yourself? If so, that was an incredible effort. In second stage, there were no events but the detail to world building was well done.

Nice one!!! The melt-o-meter kept me engaged the most. Got 24 presents V

Played your game. Jumping around in the snow felt good, you should add a skateboard under his feet and it'll become double the fun xD. Anyways, time for my excuses, the alien is way too agile, wasn't able to aim properly since he moves around quickly so always died at level 3. How many levels were added in total?

(1 edit)

Tried this game. Maybe consider putting borders on the image exterior, it'll help ease in placing tiles. Right now there are some grass tiles which cannot be differentiated and makes finding the right spot for it, a bit complex initially. This game can be expanded upon as a locked room escape kinda theme. With some unique puzzle every room. Can add traps as well, that might drop them back into previous levels or so.

Great Voice Acting

Consider reducing the Audio a bit since it was too Loud. Other than that, I quite enjoyed the game. Merry christmas to you.
