Nice, Ice! Congrats on finishing your own game for the gamejam - will try it soon, and let you know my thoughts :)

Thanks for the response! Sounds cool then. Feel free to message me on discord, whenever it will be possible to you, so we'll be able to talk about music in more details - like what kind of atmosphere you would imagine for the soundtrack, or its style (more realistic? or maybe more lofi like?), etc.

Take care, and hope you will have some nice day there!

Hello. Found your channel and this project recently, while exploring videos about artificial life simulation (such as similar project "The Life Engine").

Have to say that Bibites look cool already, even in its early stage of development. I really like the direction of this project and wish you good luck on the further developing! Also saw the video about procedural sprites - its great idea, and would defiinitely add more variety to the visual representation of bibites. Hope everything goes well with creating it.

Also do you plan on using some kind of music and sounds to the game in the future as well? If so, i would be happy to make some music for you (also sounds as well if needed) - if youre interested. I think some mysterious, but calm ambient soundtrack could bring even more life to the project. You can find my youtube channel on my profile page, if you would want to check my creations. Also you can contact me on discord: nheve#2657

Its all good - its nice to make things step by step to not get overwhelmed by the process. Really like the idea of this mechanic though, and wish for you that you will be able to progress further with your vision in the future. Im sure that making this project definitely also gave you more experience about how things works on 'inside' for creating this kind of system, and that will only help you next time!

Btw. if you would be looking for the music (or sound design) for some of your projects, you can always message me - if youre interested, you can check my music and other creations on my profile.

Take care and keep up the good work :)

Hello. Ive commented yesterday about your project on the Vintage Story discord server, and now reaching out here after testing the game as promised :)

I like the concept of your project, and have to say that you did great job with the voxel model of forge. Unfortunately i found some issue after interacting with anvil. Whenever i would spawn smithing grid at the anvil, the game starts running with a significant fps drop - like from above 60 before interaction, and below 20 after placing smithing grid. Also when trying to heat the smithing grid in the forge, the fps number seems to drop even more - preventing from proper navigation in game. And because of that i couldnt get voxel manipulation on anvil to work.

It doesnt mean that your game isnt good - i like that the idea and work youve put into it - it just seems like theres some kind of bug causing this issue. Maybe some kind of memory leak after placing smithing grid? Or could you try disabling Vsync option for the project? Would be great if we could find some kind of solution for this, cause the project truly presents pretty interesting mechanic.

Thanks, and wish you good luck with work on other projects in future!

Thanks again for the kind words and great support - it was very heartwarming to see your message here. Will definitely let you know when something change about the development :)

Also i tried to send you friend request on discord, but it gives error. Are you sure that the nickname is proper one? Heres mine in case too: nheve#2657

Take care there!

Hello, its great to see you here - thank you for the very kind words and support.

Unfortunately work on the game has stopped for now, because of the recent increased struggles with our mental disorders. Sorry. We may continue working on it in the future (at least hope so) - with redone structures of the game, and levels focused more on individual puzzles, rather than open exploration. Wish we could make it to the finish eventually - but for now we are not in a very good mental state to continue.

Thanks, and really appreciate your words and having a hope in us.

Hey HamHus - thanks and same for you. Happy to see your comment here, it was a very cool surprise. Got some new music on the channel if youre interested as well: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCm5QR5RsIaCFaK28aXiVOlg/
Thanks again for the comment and nice words

Thanks Gendgi, appreciate it a lot :)

Thanks for the kind words Ric :)

Thank you too Yvain, we really appreciate it. Unfortunately we had to stop development of this project, cause our vision for it became too ambitious. But maybe we will came back to it, and would finish it to some point - just in a bit further time, when we'll gain some more experience in game development.

Also i think you downloaded the old alpha version of game - which was made for the game jam. We have newer version available (alpha 2.6) - and ive already hide the previous one - sorry for misleading you.

So if you would want to, feel free to check new version too, theres been a few important changes, and bugfixes (also with skipping cutscenes)

Thank you again for the nice words Yvain and for playing our game :)

Okay, ive just reached 29 swaps - im done :D

Im surprised that there isnt any comments yet. I played your game Fairlii - on the outside it looks like a simple concept, but its very nice idea in gameplay, and its pretty enjoyable to play :) My record was 24 swapes heh :) Would be great to see also some next version with maybe different rooms of museum or some additional challenges/goals. Great work Fairlii :)

Thanks for playing :) I appreciate that you liked the artstyle. And youre right about gravity - there is some bug, which i couldnt fix in time, but it will be definitely changed in future updates :)
