Hey, I just took a look at Dragon Slayers and I like what you have so far. I'm a big fan of Slayers, and I'm just curious how much you intend the two games to be compatible. As it is now, it looks like monsters can be ported pretty simply from one to the other. Some of the other additions like magic items and consumables look like they could be easily used in Slayers. Also, the new combat system of zones and paths would be an easy port. I'm mostly curious what your thoughts are on porting classes back and forth between the two games. I totally respect if this isn't even a design goal for you, just curious what your thoughts/plans are in this regard.
Hey, thanks for asking!
With multiple players, everyone who defeated the map's boss compares their gold at the end of the game. Whoever has the most gold wins.
When playing solo, simply try to collect as much gold as you can and defeat the boss in the allotted number of rounds. If you like, you can record your result and try to beat your previous best on each subsequent playthrough.
You can find these rules on page 3 of the rulebook under "Game Modes".
