I should be able to start playing testing this weekend. Throughout the rest of this week, I will still be working on cards and getting them uniformed. I have had feedback (mainly from friends atm) about the design and layout of the cards and have already changed up the layouts to where I like them ^^.

This will be our first time entering a Game Jam and our first ever solo game! Most of the games we have designed have been multiple players in mind so the challenge is exciting. While we do not have anything public that others can play, we have made games (from card/board games to ttrpgs) for our friend groups and local gaming groups. Mostly received well, not every idea is a good one ^_^...

The progress of our game is going kind of slow here at the start but I think we are starting to work out some of the mechanics and its starting to look and feel like a game :). We should be able to get some cards done by this weekend and start testing next weekend.  We are aiming for 40 cards in total.

The overall theme for our game is going to be Lovecraftian in nature (spooky month and what not ^^). Its going to be a mystery game with die rolling for added narrative design and alternate outcomes.  There wasn't much influence from other games as we do not typically play solo games, however, this game does draw inspiration for some of its mechanics from Clue, Call of Cthulhu (obviously :)), Choose Your Own Adventure books, and Narrative Storytelling.

We have used Card Creator since its release and shortly switched over to Table Top Creator after its release. Tabletop Creator has been a fantastic tool for creating our games.  While TTC  has most of what we are looking for, we would like to see more card templates for none-square, non-rectangle cards like Hex Cards, Circle Cards or even an option for loading custom shape cards would be a welcomed addition to the program.
