Quirky art style. It definitely pops out on the home page.

I agree, the game has a certain charm to its simple yet graphically mature presentation.

If I spend more time on itch.io, I'll probably become a better programmer just by exposure. There's a lot of talented folks on this website.

Dreams become reality in this game.

Galactic Showdown looks like a blend of HEAVY METAL and Porco Rosso.

I'll be sure to get stuck and read the walkthrough!

ha-ha! No but in all seriousness, I'm glad HEVYGRIT is keeping it real and continuing the legacy of the point and click genre.

Idle animation is the first thing I think of when I think of pixel art.

Nice of you to say hello. And feel free to share more.

steff.

that's it.

good writing.

bravo.

ok. you're starting to get on my good side.

I'll be nice if you'll be nice to me.

Despite most people's immediate concern, I don't in fact hold an automatic prejudice or reserve pre-conceived notions of people that are unlike me. If you want to get to know me better, I would advise you be the most yourself possible. Given TOS and other circumstances I'm sure we can abide by.

That being said, I tend to be really up front about a lot of things.

I hope.

don't plead.

Let's make games

live our dreams.

An enriching cultural experience. Bravo, Scumdog!

Simplicity is king!

tictastic!

wow!

Fascinating!

I especially appreciate the cyan bugs neatly ordered on the itch-io page. Conceptually fun. Creative sprite work. Simple controls. What's not to like? Hope to hear from drgd_retro soon with the full title.

This is very inspirational. Congrats on the progress!

The lighting is remarkable.

Not sure if this is relevant to the developer's incentive, but my essential motivation, as a fan, in gaming is accessibility. This mostly stems from language barriers. That's how I imagine more people can adopt ideas to share online as experiences.

There is an issue loading the created levels. It only saves as a txt file and whenever I attempt to load the file, it does not work.

Otherwise, the game is really creative and a useful resource for creating interesting renditions of the classic pac-man format which, most, if not all gamers are familiar with.

Who is behind this ?!

An entire fleet of creatives ?!!

What a massive coordination of effort!

game changer.

What an outstanding game! So rich in color, dialogue and sound. It is a triumph worth celebrating considering the themes and subject matter of most indie RPG. True to your Companys' mission statement, it is a forward step towards having newer conversations within games a whole!

The game, though limited, had me immersed into the distinct fictional reality of Daria's. It was an intimate glimpse to the show's core dynamics.

A personal highlight of mine was the sick sad world television dialogue(s). "Placenta in pizza" had me in a casket.

insofar as I am concerned, this game is worth it.

The color palette immediately caught my attention. I really appreciated the setting options. It was a really psychological experience, which I'm not used to, but really enjoyed.

bi-lingual cabbage patch! 🤢🥶😡 1!!

I am currently working on game(s) but have little to no experience with social media or being super cool online.  My background is mostly art history, so I have a hard time finding people who match w/ me. I am no snob but tend to be.  Gaming has been a hobby of mine that I want to take seriously with many more intelligent people. Thanks~😽

creative level design. The unique environments and art style make it really stand out. The strict color palette! It looks and feels like a mature interpretation of the genre.
