First, thank you for your support. Second, people are working two jobs to sustain the development. Most indie projects can't sustain a TEAM. Rent, food, bills, it adds up. Perhaps after you get an idea of how much cost a sizable project requires, you would have a different opinion.
I can't speak for the yandere guy, but most devs lack experience, resources, or both. Time and the spirit of trial and error are the only resources left.
Thank you for the detailed feedback Jstark^^
I acknowledge most of the inputs; more high heels, friendlier UI, missing info, difficulty and save/load. The only thing I don't think I can fix is the save/load problem, as things are complicated by lots of factors, especially so for web version. For download version, as most of you are aware that you have to move the new game file to the same directory that you saved the game, as well as changing the new file name to the version you saved. I have made an auto save function, but that won't address the problem we have, which is the lack of easy way to educate our users about the path to reuse old save, due to complication created by different OS, different format of the game(web/exe/swf), different websites that we use for web version as well.
Aww, sorry web save is not hugely reliable due to uncontrollable environment, it is mostly for demo. I stated above to recommend people to use download versions:
**1. Web save/load uses browser cookies, which can get cleared. It is not hugely reliable, as well as not likely to be compatible with future web versions, unlike the downloadable files.
Sure. Local save location for Windows 7:
First narrow down the scope by going to this directory. **(See how to unhid AppData folder if you have it hidden: https://cybertext.wordpress.com/2012/05/29/cant-see-the-appdata-folder/)
C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\[Random Number]\localhost
And then search with the save's name: TTv4_Save.sol
This path should simulate where you store your exe or swf. For example, if the exe or swf is placed on your Desktop, TTv4_Save0.sol should be inside a folder call Desktop. Also exe and swf saves aren't compatible with each other.
Hmmm, could it be a bug? You can report any bugs here:
