It's super fun to play. I kept accidentally dropping my friends into the spikes. 10/10 would recommend.

I'm still working on it diligently! Life just kind of got really busy lately so I've had to put it to the side for a little bit. Come November, I'll be back to working on it, but I'll make sure to make a post then updating exactly where the project is at! I can't say that there's a solid release date yet, but when I get my post out, I'll try to give a good estimate.
Thank you so much for your interest and patience. Knowing that someone is interested in this game makes for really good inspiration and I can't wait to be able to jump back into it in full come November!
Sometimes larger sprites being put into certain programs/engines can make it look pixelated if the original sprite is larger than the project and sized down within the program.. If you have an image adjustment program that you can resize the sprite in to fit your game size specifically, it should help. Let me know if it doesn't.
I've been working to try and find a way to include more ways to create expressions with each character.
In the meantime, do you think it would be worth it to people to release a couple of expressions on the ones you've mentioned as an expressions pack? If so, can you list some of the expressions you'd prefer be included? If you had any specific characters you wanted to have them right away, I could get to work and release them soon.
If you don't mind answering some of these questions, I'd love to hear the answers. But there's no obligation and I will continue looking into it and bring it closer to the front of my workload.
I'm so glad you love her and your feedback is wonderful, as always!
The editable pack is fairly simple to do, but it is tedious because I want to make sure to cut down on my usual number of layers in order to make it easier for others to tell which layer is which while still keeping them editable at almost every point. I once did this with Miki years ago, and it was well received but due to my schedule back then, I hadn't been able to continue with it for future sprites.
One of the biggest concerns many had with my sprites has been the fact that they aren't easily customizable so I mean to address again going into the future.
First off, thank you so very much for playing my game!
Secondly, thank you even more for leaving such a heart-felt review.
Your words do make sense, don't worry!
I have so much I want to say about this game, so much commentary but I think that overall it's done a good job of speaking for itself after reading your thoughts on it.
And I think, mostly, I'm glad that its magic was understood.
I eagerly accept questions so while I understand, you don't have to be shy!
I allow my sprites to be used in commercial games as long as they follow the rules.
Essentially, I just ask to be credited and for commercial games to not only offer my work as pay to use downloadable content. If you're selling your game and not the character by itself, this should be fine!
If I stumble upon the game, I might ask where the credit to me is if it's behind a paywall, so you can choose to tell me then or just tell me where it will be located beforehand. Either of those is fine.
And I always like supporting people who use my assets, so if you feel like it, please link your game here when it's done!
Good luck on your game!
Hello! Thank you for contacting me!
This is okay as long as it follows the rules. I also would not want my assets resold as add-on content, however, so please make sure that they are free to use for anyone who uses your program (It's okay if your base program costs money to use.)
As for credits, if you can credit me in a credits section, a place where the game is downloaded, or even a text file accompanying the program if it is download- Any one of those is fine! If you have any other ideas for where to credit, feel free to run them by me. I just want it to be findable if someone were to look.
Thank you and good luck with your project! Feel free to link it here when you are finished (if you want) so that people can see it!
