How do I complete the Mia and I are gonna disrupt the Shadows quest? I keep getting sent back to home when I try to complete step 2 of it.

Yes, but maybe reduce the character health after every battle or you have reduced loot.

And this definetly should not work with certain battles like with a boss or something.

You have to do it in CONSECUTIVE days

So, I was messing around with the cheats and set my health to 8000 but in quest 13, after fighting one boar and one wolf, I came to this selections stage and my health was reduced to 115. I suspect that the bug might happen in the fight with arachne when you come to the selections stage too (I haven't tested it though).

Well, thanks a lot for fixing the reducing hp bug in elf quest, but the same bug seems to happen in quest 13 when you come to the "selections" stage.

I think this can happen in the fight with arachne too.
