So I've had a few instances of the game bugging out (losing sound, have to restart, etc) but this is the first time that it's decided to delete the folder. I had made a back up, tried putting those in, and not only did it not work, the game decided to eat the files and now there is absolutely nothing left. Is this just an odd occurrence? Or is it standard? I was working on creating a walk-through for a nightmare difficulty, more than slightly irritated at this.
