We appreciate your feedback! <3 We believe the issue stems from the hitbox of fireballs and the player-speed. You can run into your fire balls, lol! As for the slimes, they will be changed overtime.

The art style is well-polished, we like the premise of the game, and it is well-executed! We didn’t have any issues playing and all had different outcomes!

Yes, we found in testing of you are walking forward you can be insta-killed by your own fireballs :/ This will be one of our first fixes if we move forward with this build! We appreciate you for leaving feedback! <3

The game comes together really well. The music, the sprites, animations, and level design feel very fluid. The only thing that was rough for us was the keyboard controls. Gamepad support was solid.

We appreciate the kind words, Arcain! The GDD took 6 days, and we wanted to include much more, but there was no time. Similarly, there was not enough time for our crafting and alchemy systems to be included in the final version. We know this may be a big strike against us in the final voting, but we lost a week’s worth of progress due to an error in UE4, and the crafting/alchemy systems never recovered. Thank you for pointing out the fact that you can fall through the ground when traversing an incline, we will look into this in further testing and development! <3

We’re not quite sure why the health kept disappearing. The creatures are supposed to rag doll upon death, yes, and we planned to implement a settings page and overlays for the controls/collectible progress but fell short on time. Thank you for playing and offering feedback, Jake! <3 We hope to continue development and improve Hellshade!

Update: We believe the health issue is caused by the spawning of the fireballs. If the player moves forward when shooting, there is a chance you can be hit by it.

If you get it fixed, I will try to play it again for a PJ15 Entry showcase!

The game crashed when I tried to build my first double aza burger. I like the concept, the art, and the sound though! (Still better than Mr. Beast Burger)

This game is awesome! Happened to catch the development live, and Serket helped my team with a few things as well! Props!
